- We're finally back with another guest episode and it's none other than Aaron Chia, the first ever Malaysian World Champion (along with partner Soh Wooi Yik)!
Tune in to hear all about winning that gold medal by beating his idol Hendra Setiawan, but also to get the story behind Aaron and Soh's partnership.
Furthermore we dig deep into Aaron's everyday life training at BAM and how he juggles family life and the crazy hectic schedule on the BWF World Tour!
Lots of other topics we touch on as well such as being coached by Rexy Mainaky, handling the pressure of expectations, not being able to win a title at World Tour level and lots of other stuff too.
We really enjoyed chatting to Aaron, so we hope you guys enjoy this episode too!

Just want to drop a thank you HK and AA for the amazing work, this podcast is a real treat for badminton fans and I'm always looking forward to your upcoming episodes!! 🙌🔥❤
Thanks so much! We do it for you guys 🫡😄
Thanks, Hans & Anders, for interviewing Aaron. It's an eye opener for us spectators, especially the sports psychologist part and the definition of champion mentality - which I am equally guilty of at times😅. So I'm glad Hans & Anders asked Aaron about this and thanks Anders for sharing your experiences on reaching the Singapore Open finals. All the best to you all in your upcoming tournaments, stay healthy and do stay injury free
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked the episode 👏
Love you guys from India🇮🇳
Seems to be a super cool guy! On top of being a great men's doubles player. Malaysia Boleh!!!

Our pleasure. Thanks for tuning in!

Some trivia here.. Aaron's partner Soh Wooi Yik used to play MD with Lee Zii Jia during junior years. Before his partnership with Aaron Chia
👋 Hallo all, missing Badminton Experience! Congrates to Anders for returning to court with some good results. Keep going strong. And you know what, Aaron & Soh have just won their first super series title in Denmark. Must be the blessings from Hanz n Anders. 😂😂😂, as the both believed AS will soon get the 🏆 Title. Here's a suggestion, next podcast can invite Soh Wooi Yik, may look quiet but give more motivation to encourage him to speak more. Hopefully can see him in Badminton Experience. Bye
Great episode! It’s so interesting how many people have some of their best results when they’re injured or have no expectations!!
I believe one day you can get that world tour title! 💪🏻 Keep going Aaron & Wooiyik don't mind about the media, friends or netizens that spread negative thoughts about you just do it using your own way slowly but surely🇲🇾❤️
Very surely. Many world tour titles to come. Very humble and friendly personality

Another awesome episode (watched twice). Thanks Aaron for sharing the players thoughts on court and training/activities by BAM and a typical routine of players. Thanks AA and Hanz for throwing good questions. And Hanz can be so humorous that they can almost guaranteed that Aaron Soh will get the World Title after BE podcast. So funny .........😂😂😂
Thanks so much! Appreciate you🙌

The junior sang the national anthem in the video was because they were preparing for the mixed team championships. I don't think they have to sing everyday.
So its confirmed!!! Aaron/WooiYik will be winning thier first world tour title soon!!! 🎉🎉🎉
One of the nicest Malaysian badminton player 🩵
Aaron ❤🎉
Pls talk about what recently happened between bwf and viktor axelsen
Congrats AA on your win in the Korean Open...You are back where you belong..
I wonder if there was a TBE interview with some players from Canada open
Do a podcast with satwik & chirag shetty or any of them 🙏 Also may be one with their coach & your fellow dane mathias boe 🙂
Congratulations for Korea Open 500
Try Wagyu beef in Japan. Doesn't matter if it's Kobe beef or a local wagyu, all will taste great!
Among of the Malaysia badminton player , Aaron is the best player in speaking English ..
Wow same day filming and upload
You don’t really have to edit a podcast really
Relationship information was unexpected. He's got a point regarding the kids 🤔
Please interview Lee Chong Wei one day ❤❤
I hope chiaSoh win the Japan open.. Amen
Yepp.. Japan did em well
Aron cakep amat suka sama dia
Hi Antonsen, i am from Malaysia and i am not sure whether this will reach you or not. Just wanted to say that we as your fan are really proud of you for reaching the final of Korean Open! I enjoyed your interviews inside The Badminton Experience and you are really a nice person!
And you are the champion! What a mentality by Antonsen, so proud of you!
Hi, Aaron Chia Seed .
still waiting for first world tour title.
If KM can speak EL, put him in for a talk!😭
I think your camera is to close.
Axelsen has got it right; play a couple of tournaments at 110% and recover. Not overplaying at 29 to ensure fitness for Olympics Gold #2. BWF circuit would be better with half the tournaments, twice the prize money and just one rotation through the continents. More efficient, cost effective and athlete centric.
Plz invite satwik or Chirag next 🔥🙏
Yup or both of them together
Please i request chirag shetty and ranki reddy from India ka newly Indonesia Open champion please
Make Podcast when with axelsen
Om Hans, kenapa sempit banget?😅😂
Please interview any womens singles players
Den kedeligste TBE ... gab
"Playing again your childhood idol". It means setiawan very2 old. 2008 setiawan got olympic gold medal, aaroon still 10 years old 🤣
Why 5:30 am? That is not a healthy time for anyone.
You are too close to the camera, if you are editing the video with a 1:1 ratio, so you have to consider the best position during the live call.
Btw, if being a guest of The Badminton Experience can get extra luck, then of course the two hosts also get even more because of their dedication for badminton 😅
get chirag shetty and satwik
aaron look like apriyani. 😅
Wait , he had his first child at 18 yos ?!
Exactly what I was thinking lol
No. First child his stepdaughter
First daughter was his stepdaughter
@@youwillshine666 What so the wife is older than him?
@@LYCANCLANTEAM his wife is around 30s if not mistaken
@anders antonsen, shame on you for continuing to play your dirty tricks. what you did to CTC today at korea open was so distasteful. you are a good player and don't need to resolve to such trickery. gross.
yo anders when u gonna stop cheating with service lol? first nishimoto now ctc...
I suggest these Malaysian players educate themselves. Opportunities abound but the easy way in life is not trying. Why would you try when you have everything given to you. A good education will help them both on and off court. Stating the obvious in an interview and parroting seems to be the trend. European players are very different.. Their maturity and intelligence is very visible.
Paper Tiger World Champions is not good enough. Consistency is lacking. 2nd Tier maybe now 3rd Tier. Fact!
