Awesome job mostly by yourself, I just finished a small 4x4 dry pour and a 4x8 dry pour which turned out great. I'm like you if you just had another person to help would have been great carrying all those bags of concrete is a major job in itself.
Awesome pad🥰thanks for sharing…I’m doing a 8x12 dry-pour by myself- buying 4 60 lbs at a time - this will be a slow process - if it rains I’ll put a plastic over it. I pray my project is as successful as yours🙏🏾
Damn, that's a two pour for me especially at my age and by myself. I think most people think the carrying of heavy bags is the hard part, but it's that damn screeding. Your last statements were true. Once you do something that big you never want to do it again. You seemed to do this quick since very little shadow movement through the day could be seen. Great job though and especially getting your daughter out there to help you! I got winded just watching you.
I'm impressed. Mostly all by yourself a 12x12 pad, wow. Good job.
Thank you,

Doing a 14x14 ! Thanks
That was tough doing by yourself! Great job brother! Hard work is good for the soul though.
Yes sir I believe the same thank you
Tough work, but thanks (a LOT) for showing the pitfalls of doing such a large slab alone-ish.
Not a problem. It's was a lot.
How many bags of concrete
100 60lb bags
Phewwww lotta effort! Hopefully will turn out just as well as your other dry pours, look forward to seeing the outcome.
What is that tool called you used to edge it around
Edger
phew!!! I am doing 5x5 sections with help and those are kicking my but!! good job and determination!!

Ive thought about zip tieing some dumbells to the other side to see if the weight would help if I needed to screed by myself.
Interesting idea. Maybe ankle weights could work?
I did a 12x12 by myself and was sore for days… lol
Yes thats me right now. Lol
How many bags did you need for 12x12
@@londo634 I used 100 60lb bags
I used 76 80lb bags
@@travisboston5956 😅 I saw your works 🔥
You Da Man. You see something and get after it. No paint roller? Great job nonetheless. Use that energy while you have it. It don't last forever.
Absolutely beautiful... can't wait for the update; although you forgot to add Dry Pour to your title!!
Nice work
Thank you
I know exactly what you mean. I’m doing a 14x12 now but I broke it up into four sections and it’s still kicking my but
Great Job. It annoys me that you got 886 views but only 25 likes...
That doesnt botherr me I really do it for myself.
Yea that was alot
What state are you in
Ks
Too much pad to pour for one person. 2 6x12 or even better 4 6x6 pads would have helped you out. Admire your tenacity, good luck on your project.👍
I did 4 6x6 first then a few 4x2s then I tried a big pad. I agree 6x6 much more manageable.
