I feel like he owns expose to the elements. That card feels like the real reason he has access to earth in the first place. Feels bad on the defense but still...
It's very possible that Exposed will be a staple. My worry was having too much armor disruption instead of just value Guardian cards. I'm curious to see how he shapes up!
@AggroBlaze96 That's a fair concern. I think the weapon will be the real deciding factor. I don't think it'll be a "hammer" and if it's a pickaxe of some kind it may have an armor based effect like piercing 🤔
I think playing the decompose package is a trap, the hero very much plays around ice, earth is mainly here for Oaken Old, Expose to elements and equipments, considering how much Florian and Verdance sometimes struggle to decompose, I think it might be to bricky
The original list I built was all in on ice except for Oaken Old, like you mentioned. One of my main concerns with that is how bad will ice only struggle into illusionist. Then I branched into the Earth element and disruption. Excited to see how much the list changes when we see more cards 🙂
This might be a salty take but I believe ice is the worst design mechanic in this game. I hate it so much. Regardless of the hero of play, there is no downside of them running ice against me
@@chrisybarra108The thing about Ice is you don't even get to play an effective Midrange game either. The closer you get to wanting to block 6 and throw back 7, the more you're able to be hindered by Ice because the Ice player will simply ignore your 7 and present say 12 with some form of disruptuon in that numbers equasion. Ice is Midrange and Control at the same time, but the Control side is so good that it can invalidate Aggro and pressures other Midrange decks into playing worse numbers *just* to suppliment their cost curve. I'd wager close to half if not 2/3rds of the *viable* roster in their current state just folds to Ice, and builds right now are going to look vastly different due to Ice coming back.
It's never too early for deck tech
If we want more abilities like plow under why not have something like mulch red or blue in there as well?
I think Mulch could be pushing the limits on using Jarl's Earth and Ice effects. It's an okay effect, but it being an elemental card really hurts us.
theory for the wepon is a 2h with 4 power and 4 cost. but it has pierceing 2
Piercing two would actually be insane!
@@AggroBlaze96 i think it whould be fitting since its a piercing wepon to destroy armor
Probably not going to happen, but I feel like his weapon might give like extra minus armor counters if they block with equipment
That would be an awesome weapon! Great flavor also!
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~~~~~~~~ My WALLET~~~~~
Same 😭
Well, better cards are commonly known to be more expensive to produce

My runegate cards weep :(
I don't want to HAVE to run stuff like runic reckoning in Vynnset as a bail out for free frostbites XD
Everybody is forced to play blues now 😭😭

i think his weapon is gonna have the ability of equipment block for 1 less while defending this
That would be really cool! Piercing would fit really well into his weapon.
I will build Jarl but god damn, Nuu will slaughter us!
Nuu isn't real and can't hurt us...

Ice is needed when the meta is dominated by Aggro like it is right now

@larv23 I’m very excited to see how decks like Aurora and Florian have to change their blue composition to account for ice being back.
@@AggroBlaze96 it will definitely slow the game down from multiple combo turns in a game to maybe just 1-2
