I have been abusing a G920 for a few years now and while i'm not planning to change it until something breaks, this seems excelent. The pedal spring setup seems amazing, and the split paddle shifters are also an amazing touch. Very cool looking product. I'm glad the basic affordable sim racing equipment is getting more specialised alongside the alien super expensive stuff.
I'm a 16 year old who just got into sim racing. I bought the PXN V10 about 3 weeks ago, and my friend has a logitech g29. Netherless, the pxn will have a much stronger and violent ffb, while logitech's ffb will feel more smoother and natural, but very underwhelming. The distance travel of the pedals is very good for the pxn, while the logitech's pedals have short travel, but stronger springs. The logitech def has a more quality feel, but while driving, the pxn makes things feel more alive. Both are very good wheels, in different ways. I am enjoying my PXN V10 so much rn.
Which of the two (V10 vs G29) has smoother steering? As I only play truck sims I'm more concerned with the smoothness of the steering instead of the feedback. My current wheel feels very "crunchy" when I make big turns that involves spinning the wheel a few times.
@@edineammar4059 if that question is for me, I currently have a T150, so I can't just update the wheelbase. I'm in the market for something else. Was looking at the Fanatec CSL DD 5nm, because I think DD would be the smoothest I could get, but was wondering if I can get that same smoothness in something else.
PXN V10, looks like a cool affordable wheel and perfect for people that want anything that will work with multiple systems. I bought a V9 last month and t works with everything...PC, XBox, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. I love the app, makes it super easy to adjust on the fly. This would likely work with PS5 as well if you used a wired Hori gamepad plugged into the USB port on the back of the wheel.
Wheel is comparable to Logitech and a great deal. Only wheel I've seen with an app that lets you quickly remap buttons, adjust wheel rotation, vibration and sensitivity settings and then save profiles for each game on all the systems including Nintendo Switch. The H-pattern shifter is equal to Logitech driving force shifter but includes a hi/low range, and a parking break (only shifter I have seen with these features). The pedals are the weak point, they are light with little resistance.
@@elbowsout6301 I've owned the PXN V9 and its okay for the price, lacks FFB and like you said the pedals are very weak. But outside of that, everything else is pretty smooth (The pedals wear out quickly depending on how often you use it, someone told me it took a month for them but for me it was almost 6 before I started having issues with it.)
PXN V10 from me to you. Thanks for another very informative video. You must be one of the very few reviewers who actually takes the time to show us how the wheels connect up to a Sim Rig as well as a normal desk. Very helpful for people just starting out. Thanks again.
For someone that has been competing for podiums in a sim racing league using a non-ffb budget wheel, that's a wheel I'm looking foward to buy this year, it's a shame it is a bit pricy down here in Brazil. Thanks for the review.
My G27 is still going strong, but I'm always on the lookout for a potential upgrade. This looks good, although the pedals seem a bit lacking, and I wish I could find an H-shifter than could also be switched over to a spring-loaded sequential shifter. Sometimes I think I should bite the bullet and put together a Fanatec system, but now that MSFS has added helicopters, I want a collective/cyclic/rudder combo, which is $1600+ by itself (and that's a relatively "low-cost" rig). Ugh. First world problems. lol
The brake suspension can easily be changed, the size is noticably bigger than the g29's pedals, so they are solid when not mentioning the brake tension
One thing I suggest might be a problem in the future - those pins underneath the quick release system - I bet that if you change your steering wheels regularly or if you apply too much force on the wheel, I guess those pins could bent... ?
The PXN V10 is basically a reworked Mad Catz Pro. The Mad Catz wheel flopped due to them developing calibration issues over time and having no PC or PlayStation support. Do you plan to do another video on this wheel when it's had some serious use?
I like that they included a toggle button for trucking simulators. I've got a much better setup with a TH8A shifter and an Eaton Fuller shift knob with the real switchgear (replaced with HALL effects sensors of course) but back when I was still using my old Logitech G25 that dedicated button would have been great.
PXN V10 This looks like it would be the perfect wheel for my "portable" pedestal arcade controls I am working on with my son. It is going to be an all-in-one pedestal style control panel with 2x 8-button controls, 2x 6-buton, a spinner, a roller ball, 2 lightguns and 2 flight sticks (think afterburner) and a pinball plunger and flipper buttons for visual pinball. This would be mounted to a board that would hook onto the edge of the pedestal with the pedals slightly recessed into the cabinet as I intend for this to be used in the stand up config like it used to be in the 80s and 90s (remember Crus'n USA?) I was trying to find a different branded wheel, as in different from thrustmaster and logitech that is inexpensive but not cheaply made. The selling point for me is the 270 or 900 degree rotation switch. I like that and the fact that there isn't added bloatware needed just to use and configure it. I am going to build the pc into the base of the podium, it will be portable cause I am going to put wheels on the back like on a dolly, wheel it up to a wall mounted TV, hook up the power to the floor mounted receptacle and hook up the HDMI, so it will be completely self contained. Sorry for waffling on about this but your video has helped me in the layout of this pedestal.

I looked on eBay and picked up a wheel, pedals and stand for about £60. Granted it isn't a fancy brand but for entry level stuff it works perfectly fine.

Hall effect sensors don't last forever, that's a wierd marketing trick. The calibration drifts over time which normally means you have to open it up and readjust the magnets relative positions. Not difficult, but it means you have to eventually do some work on it the same as you have to with a potentiometer.
I have the v9 version and I liked it but the pedals didn't last long. I think I will get one of these v10 after seeing this video. I like the fact that they can be used independently unlike the v9 version. I also found that the shifter didn't hold up as well. I hope there are some improvement's to the internals with the v10. Thanks for this video.
@@GeekStreet yes, only vibration that shakes the wheel. PXN also just released a new 10nm DD wheel(v12) for $550 in China, not sure when it'll come here though
@studentuitm888 I use mine on American Truck Simulator, need for speed games and NASCAR. I have used it on a few of the gaming emulators I have on my pc for the Game Cube and WII. If you can set the wheel and pedals up in an options menu in game then you should be able to use it. If it is compatible with the game, it will show up in the options when choosing your controls and mapping of controllers. As long as you can map the pedals, shifter and wheel, you can use it for manual, semi-manual and automatic transmissions. If the game you try to use it with does not recognize the pxn v9, you can't use it. Most games will either say the name of the wheel that you are trying to use or it will have a pic of a wheel, pedals... something to that effect. All games are different and some won't recognize the v9 but they will recognize the v10 and other brands. Keep in mind that the pnxv9 came out just a handful of years ago so some older games won't recognize it. I hope this helps you. I will say that the v9 is a good starter wheel set but if you can spend the few extra dollars, I would recommend you getting the v10 because it is a better quality product.
I know this video is 6 months old but. Im trying to decide on whether to buy my husband this wheel or the g29. Do they both work on PS5? Also, which would you honestly recommend? He's mainly gonna be playing Gran Turismo 7 and Nascar.
Sadly the cheaper sensors in things like this is where they really fall flat, be it steering wheels, joysticks or controllers. I think when reviewing them its important to show that, how precise it is, response times and ability to hold position, depending how bad it is you could find they bounce all over the place when trying to hold position e.g 55% throttle position or 180 degree steering position. A simple xinput program or callabration tool should show this.
What about changing the wheel for a larger wheel? I play a lot of Euro truck and I find driving with the tiny wheels supplied with all these kit's weird. You don't need to add as much steering input with a larger wheel. All these companies put too much emphasis on catering for racing games. The only thing they add is the 900° which is imperative. If you want to fly, you can buy joysticks from a fighter jet to a 747 and from a Boeing to a cesena, but nothing for us lorry or bus drivers for that matter. I did fit a steering wheel from a Daf truck to my Logitech G27, but the motors didn't ljke the weight, but I still drive with a larger wheel, not to mention the real indicator/wiper stalk kit from obokidly which I doubt would fit this wheel base. I'm going to stick with logitech, perhaps upgrading to the G923 in the hope scs software or logitech adds trueforce.
g923 isn't much better than g27. G27 and G29 have the same motor, they only have other rims. G923 is a G29 with a bit better motor. Buying G923 after using G27 is probably a waste of time and money, and if you really want to upgrade, buy a T300.
@@takomusic1 Thank you for the info. From what I understand, the G923 is just the new version of the G29 and G920 with their new true force technology. Unfortunately few games support true force at the moment, but that won't be the case forever. For now, the only difference is the price. The G923 is only £20 dearer for the ps version and £40 for xbox, but the gear shifter for the Thrustmaster is a lot more expensive than the £37 price tag for the logitech shifter. For racing I could understand paying the extra, but I only play Euro truck sim 2 and I'm not sure how the bmw E36 cluster I use on my sim rig would work with the larger base on the T300. I'm still torn between the 2.
@@jasonnicholas3722 True Force isn't worth upgrading, it's just G29 Force Feedback but a little bit better. The biggest change is in the motors, but they are still not that good. Also there is a cheap adapter that makes logitech shifter a usb device, works with every game on pc, never had problems with it. I have a T300 and T3PA PRO pedals, but I still use logitech shifter, just with an adapter, as I don't even use it much.
@@jasonnicholas3722 If I were you I would buy T300, there are a lot of mods to it, I'm sure you will be able to mod it in a way you like. I didn't change anything, but my friend did, and he was amazed how much mods there were on the internet to buy. He has a custom rim, magnetic paddles and even working blinkers (because he sometimes plays games like ETS).
Not bad at this price range. It's not perfect but still good for budget conscious gamers who want a decent setup. Well done reviewed and unboxing my friend. like 301 and full view.
This is the same wheel as the Madcatz Pro Racing which was released in 2014(!). Not sure if the internals are different or not. The included pedals with the PXN are different tho.
Just bought this wheel tonight and I’ll be taking it back to get it switched out for another. The forced feed back stopped working right when I got my no hesi servers set up
Is this wheel compatible with ATS/ETS2? Just keeping eye out for wheel for one my friends. I already have G29 and love it, but I got it before all pc prices shot up. Wheels now are crazy over price in Canada and my friend in Australia been looking for a wheel, but G29 over there for him is $500+. That's insane for Wheel that is 7+ years old now..
added a folded piece of paper to the edge of the shifter for each paddle as needed to make the shift as short as possible. 3d pringing items would be over the top, but .... just jaming a paper clip in there is a huge simple fix
I'm still rocking ancient driving force gt on pc and at this rate that's not changing anytime soon. I will in a way be forced to get a new pc next year and as xbox is done in the current gen I'll probably focus on a wheel to pc with ps5 being secondary. I keep delaying upgrades basically and with that getting more options 😅 Pxvn 12 looks interesting but missing the PS5 it seems 😞
@@StonnyMc I understand, it’s hard because great games like the Forza horizon and motosport series are in xbox but in pc too, still looking the pc but not so soon, i saw some bundles with the ps5 adapter, we’ll find what we need, thanks for sharing mate, good luck 😃🫡
PXN v10!! I currently have the G29 for my ps4 I have an Xbox series S and hate I can’t use my wheel… this would have been perfect. Would you consider worth it to replace g29 or just buy Xbox wheel??
I have a pxn900, and I don’t have any issues with it. so having another pedal, shifter and proper FFB (compared to pxn900) is not a bad deal. Specially since I use the Xbox and the ps4.
I don't think it's worth it, it goes for 330€ - 350€, and you can get a G29 for 200€ - 240€, and a gear stick for another 30€, so quite a big gap in real pricing.
So you're telling me that I can plug it into a ps4, play on it for a bit and when I get bored I can plug it into an xbox with no issues? Or... do you need to buy a specific model for the respective consoles?
Not a fan of all that plastic but them clamps would have been really nice for other wheels where the clamping system isn't that's great and slides around a bit
Madcatz designers teamed up with pxn in 2018, they have every right to redesign and sell it. Also the gtr wheel that used the same base model was not a collaboration, thr gtr company just bought the madcatz wheel stock and exchanged the motor
pxnv10 - those who know, know. quick question. have you used it on xbox or pc. and if using it on xbox for forza. does that ebrake thing actually work. having considerations about this but i also want to get something that either has handbrake mods for it already, or something i can jimmy wire a handbrake onto (do a lot of drifting in forza, and the rally in wrc8)
@@MDaDonLegacy this wheel is not 10 years old, its a redesigned wheel that reused the base design and wheel design of their past wheel in 2014. Just like how logitech literally barely changes anything on their wheel series
If you get this steering wheel I would recommend upgrading the shifter to something better the mounting screw for the shifter brakes easily I would recommend a Logitech shifter what's the racing adapter so the shifter can work
It used to work on my xbox one , but when I got a xbox one x(not series x) it doesn’t work anymore and I haven’t used it in like 4 months, what do I do
Is it me or is that just a reskin or update to the mad catz force feedback wheel from when the Xbox one first came out. Like it has major updates to it but is something from over 7-8 years ago?
I wish they put some effort on making a dedicated software to be installed on PC and save profiles multiple profiles as well. I don't use smartphones but with this I'll be forced to get one, or I can just use bluestack and use my WiFi's Bluetooth to get it paired. Its a hacked job so I even wonder if that will work or not.
I’ve seen reviews saying it’s a “rebranded MadCatz”. Plus the app is the letdown with support for updates to windows relying on the dev to update, or not, and you left with a defunct wheel. I don’t think so….
I bought the setup a few months ago, I don't have any experience with other setups but I will say I'm happy with the price but the g29 has more support in the games like Forza 5 and asseto corsa
No. If you're going from a g920 you're better off upgrading to a direct drive wheelbase and load cell brakes. Something like the Fanatec GT DD Pro or Moza R5 or R9. This is slightly better specs than the G series but whether it's as reliable as the G series is something you won't know for a while. Those Logitech G series wheels are indestructible
I stupidly went for this wheel setup, 2 weeks later and the wheel decided to make horrible grinding noises, FFB stopped working now when it calibrates it gets stuck at full lock. this the wheel base is no where near as a good as the Logitech stuff, the only plus with these is the pedals and shifter can be used via usb connecting directly to the pc so when your base does die at least you can find a cheap wheel and still use the pedals and shifter.

hi@studentuitm888 no it does not work on the ps4 it does work on the ps3.
Go for G29 it's better than the PXN
@@GeekStreet Thank you ❤️
You're welcome
The G29 can be recognized as a G27 by Win98SE drivers, meaning it is good for all your classic and modern gaming up to Win11.
👍
Need to get my hands on a rig!👌🏻
💯🥳
Not bad at this price range. It's not perfect but still good for budget conscious gamers who want a decent setup. Well done reviewed and unboxing my friend. like 301 and full view.
Thanks bro!
In mainland China, its price is only about 160~170 US dollars。😄
what is the price?
@@兰天-s7x worth it at that price. G29 with a shifter is about $300
Are there different wheels like f1 for this? I couldn’t find any.
No unfortunately not
Ok thank you!
I have a G25 and the one thing that kept me from getting a G27 or G29 was that the G25 has a sequential shifter switch.
This is the same wheel as the Madcatz Pro Racing which was released in 2014(!). Not sure if the internals are different or not.
The included pedals with the PXN are different tho.
I agree, the wheelbase looks too similar!!
same wheel but everything is changed . new motor , new buttons , new pedal sets . If the design works why change right ?
Just bought this wheel tonight and I’ll be taking it back to get it switched out for another. The forced feed back stopped working right when I got my no hesi servers set up
Get your money back and go for a Logitech G29 or G920
Does all the clamps come with the steering wheel or did you buy it seperately?
great video ! very informative and eye pleasing.
Thank you!

I really enjoyed it
Thanks
great review! i had mine and about to start using it, but great to watch this video first beforehand!
@@AnimEva_33 is it any good? I’ve seen people give it really bad reviews specifically on the shifter.
Thank you, very detailed and thorough review.
That's insane for Wheel that is 7+ years old now..
how is it for drifting? does it self-center fast? that’s the main issue with the g29 in my experience
Would this be a decent upgrade over a t150 for $150.?
they kind of screwed up with the V9, still have it and its cant even register as an X mode or D mode.
😭
added a folded piece of paper to the edge of the shifter for each paddle as needed to make the shift as short as possible. 3d pringing items would be over the top, but .... just jaming a paper clip in there is a huge simple fix
You need to move the wheel far closer to you. Arms should not be extended straight out like that, it leads to fatigue and you have less strength.
PXN V10 almost perfect but my search goes on for for one that works on both current gen consoles 😕
@@StonnyMc same here mate, which one you got? I’m thinking about the PXN V12 lite
Nice video! Thanks for sharing!
I have a pxn900, and I don’t have any issues with it. so having another pedal, shifter and proper FFB (compared to pxn900) is not a bad deal. Specially since I use the Xbox and the ps4.
PXN V10, Thank you for the review. I am looking into purchasing one and wanted an honest review.

PXN V10, amazing video mate. Enjoyed it!

I don't think it's worth it, it goes for 330€ - 350€, and you can get a G29 for 200€ - 240€, and a gear stick for another 30€, so quite a big gap in real pricing.
Its $200 in asia and a g29 with shifters is $300.
PXN V10, Looks interesting but at £330 the G920 or G29 will be the more viable option based on price alone

But keep in mind that the Logitech ones, doesn't come with a shifter anymore...

why are you giving it such jagged inputs? it doesn't look like you're using a proper wheel. was it in 270 degree mode or something?
So you're telling me that I can plug it into a ps4, play on it for a bit and when I get bored I can plug it into an xbox with no issues? Or... do you need to buy a specific model for the respective consoles?
Not a fan of all that plastic but them clamps would have been really nice for other wheels where the clamping system isn't that's great and slides around a bit
Atleast wheel is metal, same with some parts of pedals.
Wheel front plate is aluminum. The video here have mistaken it as plastic
What did u buy this from online or in person Walmart or what did u buy this from bc the one I seen is only 13 reviews
Only available in online websites rn, it opened up in Amazon about a few months ago so not a lot of reviews yet
how does the shifter compare to the logitech one?
Why does the shifter come with a "normal" clamp while you'll ned the a hex socket to fit the Wheel?
This is so helpful. I saw this wheel combo on Amazon and thought no way it's actually decent. Now I want it

PXNV10 - Wasnt a fan of the travel distance on the wheel shifters, are they adjustable in anyway? (imo just took to long to actually click)
PXN V10! I ordered it, cant wait to arrive.
nice but one think Forza is not for PlayStation Five, how do you play with it?
You can play Forza on PC and Xbox. I showed on Xbox
He said its not comatible with ps5 bro 💀
This is the 3rd company I've seen rebranding the Madcatz wheel and pedal set and selling it as their own.
Great review! Looks cool for a possible Mario Cart RIG for my kiddos. Will it work on a Nintendo Switch?
Recently got this as a birthday gift. Sadly, it doesn't work on Snowrunner, which is basically the only driving game I play
Holy crap you got a LG Oled on there, good choice

That was some hardcore input lag wasn’t it?? Is that your monitor or the wheel?
is this worth upgrading over the g92 especially for sim drifting
No its definitely not an upgrade to the G29
How does this compare to thrustmaster T300?? I've been looking at the t300 for some time now but this kit looks appealing.

It's funny how they made it look like a direct drive base but it's belt drive.
Still the closest you can get for around 260 to 330 price
Do you need to plug in a controller if your using it on pc
It’s fun and all but unfortunately it’s not supported in a lot of triple A games
Is it me or is that just a reskin or update to the mad catz force feedback wheel from when the Xbox one first came out. Like it has major updates to it but is something from over 7-8 years ago?
The logitech g921 is also like an upgrade from their wheel like 8 years ago lol
Idk its like 150 bucks more than the g29. The g29 os basically 210 brand new where I live

@@GamerTime_2002 Glad to hear that works. I just got my G29 and already pay for gamepass. I'm really wondering about GT5 though.
Would this be a good upgrade from an almost 4 year old g920?
No at all as the experience is similar, you're better off going for a direct drive.
This might be one of my next purchases. Im interested in sim racing and ive already been playing alot of arcady race games (nfs and a bit of burnout)
