BB has plenty of experience kicking in the wind at the Cake Tin. I think you forgot he played for the Hurricanes for many years. Also, that forecast isn't windy for Wellington.
@@Wildkard Was a better player*(gooder isn't a real word cobba) And yes, that is true. As it turned out, it wasn't windy and he kicked 4/5. Whilst I backed his goal kicking there ahead of the game. I am no fan of his general kicking game and think he should just be a super sub. I'd start Mo'unga over him any day if he was eligible to play. And I am not just saying that because I live in Crusader country 😁
BB used to play for the hurricanes and any time he wore the black jersey just could not goal kick at wellington. He is so inconsistant off the boot kicking for goal. He is world class everywhere else its what lead to the lions series loss & 2018 Boks loss at westpac stadium.
Used to be a 3 match series so it's about legacy and connection to the past (played since the 1930s mate). We had to win 2 to claim it and if Aussie are good enough to win two you can have it back. Simple. But wouldnt be Wildkard without a rant rabbit hole.
And what about the 70 to 80 years where we played three tests and needed two wins to claim the cup. Legacy and the battles of the past mean anything to anyone anymore? Or all about feeling excited today.
@@siix477 yeah bro agree but unfortunately SA rugby with the backing of the IRB hold the money ( through viewership) in the s.hemisphere so they call the shots and 2 tests is all they’ll allow! The IRB are killing the game for pacific nations and this is just one part of it! Despite the fact the best union players come from the south they’ll still eat their own for $$
Yes a third test that could be a dead rubber. Beat the dead horse. Was it the wallabies that changed the terms when they had the bledisloe? I remember how hard it was to win it back off the wallabies .
Somebody better take control in this game bloody hell... I'm not convinced All Blacks can do it. They took their bloody foot off the accelerator in second half. Dmac will have to up his game. Beauden can hold his nerve.. we'll see Wildkard. Nothing is written in stone 😂😂🎉
@@Wildkard hahaha 🤣🤣 you're holding thumbs...good luck Aussies.. All Blacks better bring all their meat and veg to the table today... Main course......grilled 🦘 steaks
The Wallabies have a heavier pack than NZ. Should be a tight game this one . Australia are quietly confident that they have this opportunity to take the game. There's more pressure on the All Blacks to perform for the full 80 minutes will be a interesting game with the writing on the wall at full time looking ahead
pack weights don't mean much. But it is interesting that NZ are 20-30kgs off their ideal playing weight (I think?). Despite NZ having a shit record at the Tin these days, I don't think it'll be close at all I'm afraid...
Forecast was terrible but cleared up into a glorious day, looks like it should stay good this evening. Pity Ioane stayed in instead of seeing Proctor, despite having a good game the only thing I'd have kept Ioane in for was synergi with Jordie. Havili on the bench is just as stupid as him ever coming near the squad as the worse midfielder in the entire country this year. I can't see Aus competing 2 weeks in a row, sadly it's going to make Beaudan look not bad.
I just gotta say something. Its important. Super rugby is ok. Its fine. But man its long. And then these internationals, man they are awesome. We dont play australia enough. We dont play the boks enough. If its only aus and nz and fiji and auckland b (pasiifikaaaaa) then why dont we run a truncated super rugby comp as it is waaaaaay too long and why dont we run a fiji vs aus vs abs series, outside of the test match window which means chaching for all involved because it doesnt go to the irb. Lets do it.
You realise this is not just the 2nd bledisloe game? It is the rugby championship. If aussie lose this game, then a third bledisloe would be a dead rubber. I remember when the wallabies had the cup, it was hard to win it back. Why does everyone want to make it easier? Participation medals anyone?

This is true. I suppose the comment is more that BB hasn’t been doing any kicking this year for the ABs.
I think you forgot that BBs kicking percentage is absolutely dog shit no matter where he is...
when beuden played for the cane he actually a gooder player back then!

yeah his goal kicking will be up for show again...
Come on wallabies , just pass , kick , tackle , run , defend , play man.

Coming from a kiwi here bro I’d love nothing more than to see this second test be a for and against! If Aus win by aggregate then they get the cup!

would be so much more exciting wouldnt it
Good luck australia!
Up until recently, it was a three test match series, where the 3rd Bledisloe wasn't apart of the Rugby Championship. Bring that back IMO.

3 tests is not a bad idea too
better pick up some chlorsig for that eye mate haha
Exactly or even better, make it a 3 test series again FFS!!
Wallabies need a new defensive system that does not look like the Brumbies 2020

not great at tackling imo

Wallabies set to take 3 points all the way to another loss while kiwis kick for the corner and score 7 time and time again.
was tough mate
Did they really have to fixture NZ vs Australia during the AFL Grand Final?
Only diehards in Sydney and Brisdane will bother watching it
2:30pm kick off AFL , Rugby is 5:05pm kick off ... as for me I have a wedding on that day during those hours so I'm screwed eitherway
I’m from WA I’m watching the rugby over AFL all day every day.
@huckscout5601 what if the WA team was playing? 👀
no one watches AFL mate, small indie game

super rugby is way too short. the northerners have way longer seasons. URC already started and they ended like few months ago

It’s a dead rubber because if the series is drawn the team that held the cup retains it… so New Zealand already retain it with the first win
just cos something decided 20 years ago doesnt mean it was a good idea and we should keep it.
