Rhythm of the maroons is the name of the band, not an event. The first event was called Maroons Nite - 1991, the second event Maroons Fiesta - 1993. I don't know when the event got started to called by the name of the band.
Don't know why 'Podi Malli' doesn't sing anymore but we enjoy his radio programmes and stage performances. Bhathiya was a good singer in school days. We enjoyed his performance at school events. We as O/L students used to watch him singing while playing the piano in the western music room of Ananda college. He was in the senior brass band as well. Nice to see both Bhathya & Santhush still look so young and energetic. Nice combination of Ananda & Royal.
