In the first half as a drummer who just recently found the band and loved the studio version but never saw a live version so far, I was like...what, please hit those cymbals just a bit, please, give it some more energy, just one crash or groove somewhere or anything... but the second part convinced me that the whole setup wasn't just for visual. This is one of those bands that just went too far in the studio and just couldn’t recreate that sound live. Not terrible, just a little lackluster. I actually really like Gold Guns Gorls but never heard a live version that captured that intensity
We are so lucky to have Metric. They are on another level.
