I'm back after 4 years cuz I couldn't get enuff of Metric! I stumbled upon this wonderful video and I realized OMG time went right past me like in a heart beat. Truly amazing and original.
In the first half as a drummer who just recently found the band and loved the studio version but never saw a live version so far, I was like...what, please hit those cymbals just a bit, please, give it some more energy, just one crash or groove somewhere or anything... but the second part convinced me that the whole setup wasn't just for visual. At all :D

This is one of those bands that just went too far in the studio and just couldn’t recreate that sound live. Not terrible, just a little lackluster. I actually really like Gold Guns Gorls but never heard a live version that captured that intensity
