How do I go about getting loomis rolls? I’m new and only use my bank (different locations of my bank)
A lot of good finds, but the 3 W’s in 10 boxes is a little light. You did find a couple of silver which I still have yet to find in a bank box. Sometimes that’s how it goes, but still I would be happy to put them in my collection! Keep Diggin!

Yesterday I found two silver quarters metal detecting in a three hour hunt. Add the two silver dimes and I find it much more fun metal detecting than coin roll hunting. I still ask for half's every time I go to the bank, which is maybe once every two or three months.
The quarter with the scratch... If it goes all the way around it happened in the making
You must be in a good spot, I've been metal detecting all over Montana for years and have only found a few silver coins. TONS of wheat and old coins but not much silver

Here's a reply seven months later. Last week I went to my bank just to ask for half dollars. I was with a friend who was next door ordering us burgers and fries. They had two rolls ($20). I opened one, nothing, I handed the other roll to my buddy and told him to open it, while I went to the restroom. When I got back, he handed me a Ben Franklin, and five other 40% ers. Then he smiled and handed me two Walking Liberties.
I watch alot of Quarter hunts the " W " quarters were plentiful before but now everyone looking for them and it harder to find now ! ♥
Only found 2 this year so far
Just need to try different banks and hope for better and more finds, keep on diggn
i think the boxes that come in are just random i dont think the bank matters since the bank orders the coins for me

Nice hunt and you never know on the W’s and Silver. On my last 5 box quarter hunt I found 6 W’s and 1 silver quarter with box 5 being a skunk box. I am averaging 1.5 W’s per box.
Roll 2 box 8, the first quarter you pulled with the cuds/die chips, looked doubled throughout the wording when you put it under your microscope.

i really like the 1965 quarters, because of all coin denominations the quarter gets the most use today, gum ball machines, laundromats, soda machines, carts at Aldis you name it, and of quarters the oldest you can usually find by far is the 1965, imagine all the crazy stuff a almost 60 year old quarter has seen? and it's not over yet, the 1965 quarter is one of the oldest, yet still commonplace and regularly used pieces of American commerce today
sure there are pennies and nickels from the early 60s, sometimes 50s or even 40s out there if you have a sharp eye, maybe even a silver dime or two, but they don't get as much steady use as quarters do

The 1965 quarter in box 3 appears to have been cleaned in a tumbler with polishing media. I always clean my common clad detecting finds that way before cashing them in.
@@OldIndigone I've made coins look brand new and even took a dirty silver dime I cleaned by mistake, to a coin shop,. He couldn't tell, until I showed him the difference under a magnifier.

I know I go to the laundry mat every week and get like 60 worth of quarters and each time I get atleast 5 to 6 65 or earlier silver quarters. Its the stash spot for old quarters and W quarters.

Wife just got a job at a ma and pa convinent store and they don't collect money so any collectable that comes in can be bought face value. So far I have a star 20 with 000728#### in decent condition and about 8 2 dollar bills with one that is really cool and some silver certificates and some dollar coins that have wide rim and it has really rounded out my collection though I tend to lean to ww2 coins and and wheat pennies.
