Good video with no unnecessary music. Your floor came out good. I've done this to my basement floor, and, like you, I learned as I did it. The next time you do it, you'll do a lot better because now you're an epoxyshield floor pro!
Thank you! I appreciate it and for sure, barely anyone gets it right on their first try but it's just about giving it another chance and learning from the first time 🙌
It's holding up decently! I would say that parking a car is fine. For the gym area, I have the 2" platform that takes most of the impact and also use some crash pads if I need to drop weights so I'm not concerned there. I will say though, I try to avoid dragging stuff on the floor cuz it does scuff the floor. As for cleaning, it's way easier since the pores of the concrete are sealed! Oil and water are super easy clean ups. A year after, I'd definitely recommend it still. I would probably have gotten a second package to get better coverage though, especially since it was only $70 for the epoxy (might be more expensive now).
Haven't had any problem! I would definitely wait till it's fully cured, maybe even longer than the instructions say, before putting a car on though. I think when I left a car parked the first time, you could tell where it was after I drove away
Hey good question! They rent separately and I included links to them at the bottom of the description. For a 4-hour rental in my area, the grinding wheel is $75 and the machine is $39. Make sure you rent both of them, otherwise you won't be able to do anything!
You probably dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my brother for the last few weeks =)

Great and real tutorial, your girlfriends dad will approve.
Your floor looks great! You have a CMU knee wall while I have a concrete curb. Do you have an opinion if I could use the same product on my curb?
I think I've seen folks do it partially up their curb as well! It probably helps when you're rinsing down the garage
Nice job for an amateur. How many days did it take?
How do you feel about the product after a year?
Thanks for the tutorial and garage tour. How is it holding up after a year? Especially the area where you have your gym? Thanks

I have read that tire pickup is a problem sometimes. Does it seem durable and have you had any adhesion issues?

@Alessandro Cason definitely, I've been watching on instaflixxer for years myself =)
Having the floor wet a lil helps with the dust.
Great tip, I'll do it for my next garage in the future!
Nice video! I think you'd enjoy my content too
