Brad was my cousin. Very kind gentle man. Very loving. I was very sad when he passed. I will always remember his words of wisdom, and his sense of humor. Always there when you needed someone. And one hell of a singer. Love you Brad miss you.
RIP Brad. Crying.
Brad was a very good friend of mine. A once in a lifetime friendship. I'm still wrecked to the core. 💔 😢 Most amazing person I've ever met. I'm very blessed and grateful to have had him in my life for 20 years. Love ya, Brad. Maybe someday I'll know....
I grew up on Boston. Their music means more to me than I could ever describe. Though I never met Brad in person, when I heard the news of his passing, I felt as I had lost a part of myself. I am a singer/songwriter and dedicated my first solo album to his memory.
Greatest singer ever. Even greater human being.
Great singer I m sorry Brad Delp great singer RIP
2023….well overdue to have these guys inducted in the rock and roll hall of fame!!!!
Brad Delp was the ONLY voice of Boston......period. RIP Brad. I hope you know just how much your missed.........
Wow he sounded better here than in 79...
I grew up listening to Boston. Their music was genius. RIP Brad Delp
This thread should be an appreciation of one of the greatest rock bands of all time. I'm saddened by all the negative comments and foolish criticism I see on here. Nothing could be more antithetical to the spirit of this band.
There cannot be a BOSTON without Brad Delp
that is brad dell singing
Evan Miller
Who the fuck is Brad Dell?
+Gerald Albion who the fuck is Gerald Albion....brad delps that rock star singing the shit outta more than a feeling
I meant delp god
yes
Boston was my very first concert. Madison Square Garden 1979. I was 16. I can still here the show in my head. Amazing!
WOW who opened?
Brad was simply the master and won't ever be equaled.
Brad Delp is undoubtedly one of the greatest vocalist to ever sing rock and roll. Though bruh has moved into the next dimension, his music still lives on, especially on my Spotify playlist. Just ask any neighbor within a 3 block radius...
One of the most underrated singers of all time. I wish he got recognized more as such!
There is no band that I feel has the passion to play the music that they do.
Boston ROCKS
Such a voice at that age, unbelievable!
Brad brought so much joy to so many people. It's so sad that he's gone. I'm glad that there are some great videos of him like this one. His memory will live on forever.
Who thumbs down this?????? That voice is insane!!!!
It was a sad day when Brad passed. Boston will always be a part of my growing up and life. Saw them live once in the 80’s and it was incredible! Thanks to Tom for creating an incredible sound, and to Brad for vocals second to none.
Fantastic, he kept getting better, he didn’t have the same issues in live performance he had when he was young, even while his voice kept getting older, he nailed this one!
Boston is my favorite band. No one can sing like the 'legendary' Brad Delp.
Beautiful sounds. That he could still hit those notes was amazing. It wasn't technically perfect but still very surreal and excellent.
No doubt. For instance, I remember seeing the Black Crowes when Chris Robinson was like 38 and he couldn't hit a note within 10 tones of the original. Here's Delp in his 50s nailing it.
Steve Perry quit early in his 40s in lieu of embarrassing himself. Other people change the song co.pletely to compensate, but Brad was still killing it!
Such a tragedy.
He actually couldnt hit tht high note at the end so homeboy with the guitar killed it for him 😭😭😭
I learned since I posted that 7 years ago that the homie with the guitar hit both the money notes toward the end. At least Brad gave him s shout out. Still nice to watch.
For almost 30 years older than he was when he first sang it, I'd say he did a damn good job!

We miss our Friend!! Love you Brad, love your singing especially With Beatle Juice!! Brad all that knew you would have done anything to keep you with us!! You were so special in so many ways!! So giving of yourself, we miss you so much!
Chills running through out my boddy. This guy still hits those high notes. AMAZING!!!
One of the best versions of this song I've heard in a long time
Man Brad was absolutely an amazing musician...and Tom still is...im happy Tom still has Boston tour...they were awesome this year...But ill never truly see Boston live with Brad gone.
I miss Brad's magical rock and roll vocals so much. One of a kind voice without a doubt. RIP Brad. So wonderful to have these videos to remember you and your amazing music. It's so sad that we have to lose someone to appreciate how very special they are, and how much they mean to us.
still reaching the high notes on his last public concert boston amen
I love "BOSTON"!!
one of the most recognisable and superb voices in rock
I was at this show,Brad sounded much better live then on this recording. RIP BRAD you've been greatly missed!!!!!
I sang and jammed on the drums to this song in a gig with a few of my friends during my years in college.
Man I even love listening to Brad Dell sing his voice is amazing. RIP Brad
Dammmmm those high notes!!!
Unforgettable!!!❤
As someone who's about to reach his 30's I've had such an appreciation for 60-80's music. So it kind of makes me sad and it's also awesome watching the crowd, proud fans but you can tell there's NO younger people there. That proves the younger generation is not gonna care. It's up the millennials to keep the appreciation going!
Well I mean dude I'm 14 and I've been to 3 Boston shows an acdc show 2 journey shows a Doobie brothers show and a gnr concert, so I wouldn't say NO younger people
Or that we're not gonna care. I care a lot about classics like this. I hate new shit unless it's by old artists (e. g. Rock or bust by AC/DC). I consider myself to be one of the rarities for my age. So don't go saying NO people my age are gonna care. It's simply not true man
+Jacob Reavis its a stigma buddy. Then that just makes you cool! ;)
@@jacobreavis3510 same. 16. only rock/metal for me.
Hows the 30s treating you bro
I'm singin' and jammin' with a tear in my eye! To me, the best rock voice of all time. Sang from the heart every single time.
Absolutely Epic 👍
Here's what you'll see at a BOSTON show -
EVERYBODY standing up for the entire event.
Scholz riffing & feel good music blasting out loud.
Thank for posting this and very grateful to see some better quality video just like you did. Wish there a way to put them all together in one concert video for everyone to see and buy . Brad Delp is just amazing and seeing him as if he never left us and voice so perfect and of course no one replaced him and all the love he gave to all his fans including me because I completely adored him until the end of time. Rest In Peace my angel
As much as I love Tom, I've never been a big fan of finger tapping. But either way great performance and I'm admiring Brad, nearly 30 years older here and giving it all he had! Bless his heart, RIP.
I CANNOT wait until I see BOSTON on the road this summer. It's been such a long time!
They've still got it!
So many great memories,we miss you brad, you were the heart and soul of Boston and always will be 🥲❤️
i will search for him in uptown and give hym a big hug and say thanks dude !
The best song of all times the best singer of all times RIP
Brad
You were unique
Sorry guys i prefer when i heard him singin this song in 1976....a revelation..phenomenal performance
.becoming older in 2004 ..it 's different and I understand
BRAD. DELP. IS. THE. MOST. UNDERRATED. SINGER. OF. ANY. GENRE. EVER. PERIOD.
2:30 wow those guys are really rocking out
Thank you for posting.
From Saskatchewan
Brad singing this gives me nostalgia
That is the funniest thing I have read. You gave me the best laugh today that I have had in a very long time. Thank you. : )
I like how this video is just the camera guys trying their best not to show Tom
RIP Brad, hope I will see you sometime again.
Man he still could nail those high notes.
Yo escuchando música q nunca pasará de moda, q llegó para quedarse unos de mis temas preferidos vivan los 70 y 80.
This section of the concert was a definite win
Goddamn epic stuff, if Boston had live game like this when they were young, THEYD BE LEGENDS OF THE UNIVERSE
@@cameronshapiro700 Still are!
The bassist hasn't aged at all!!!
MISS THAT GUY,LUV U BRAD!!!
Thank you 🙏
Great seeing Tom and Brad sharing the stage.
Just incredible
brads still got it " great video boston " love you guys!
excelente sonido de guitarras y maravillosa voz de Brad ....RIP †
Nice song!
Happy Birthday in Heaven Brad Delp!
He meant what he sang...he sang what he meant...
Amen
RIP Delp!
He was incredible. Although I'd have one hell of a stiff neck if I had to hold my head up that high to get to the mic....
Muito bom esse som...
😢💔 Brad had a hell of a smile.
I was todays year old to find out that there was a post instrumental to more than a feeling
The one and only.... RIP BRAD!!!!
That Delp can even approach the notes in this clip is pretty amazing but he can't quite do it here. In fact, in one of the "walking aways", he got help. On the last "she slipped away" he wisely got help (and received it in the classiest way possible). He still had an amazing tone for sure but, as expected, his former heights had definitely begun to "slip away" here.
& i don't care whos in the band these days please come to the Uk I just want to see these song done live RIGHT IN MY FACE !!! :)
muito bom!!!
He had a voice...
Even then he sounded remarkable
Robert Sweet with the younger Brad high notes.
Michael Sweet, Robert are his brother, the drummer of Stryper.
Brad could still sing great in his 50s
Saw this tour of Boston in 2004 when they came to Austin. I think Brad had a better night when I saw him, he wasn't off-key like he is here.
They don't seem like they were enjoying themselves here. Maybe they were all just really tired
Brad is awesome! RIP
this vid has 2 things going for it. 1st: Brad Delp is singing lead vocals; and that right there should do it for most Boston fans. 2nd:(and this is my personal opnion): i like this video/channel because of the name( i am a native to the province of your channels namesake)
Damn!!!
This was damn incredible, a little toke and he’s back on key, that super high note with a compadre didn’t work very well though
Hey friend could it be a chance you can upload the full concert???
Thanks buddy
RIP brad!
Drummer is lagging
Brad Delp was the best! 🥺
If im already born in those years , i would be more than willing to strive just to get money for me to watch their concerts.
That is an autentic rock band, who's needs metálica or nirvana?
Be a bit of a tricky situation when your signature/hit song is also an absolute bastard to sing! Great song that I have personally never heard a covers band play - any intermediate level musician could play it with ease but finding a singer who can nail it......
There will be no more Boston without Brad delp and Tom scholz
David Fugere, the movements perfectly match. You can tell this is in fact Brad Delp singing, not Sweet and DeCarlo.
God rest his soul
Que vocal fantástico, quando ouço este tipo de cantor odeio ainda mais as porcarias de hoje em dia com seus auto tunes
where is the basist.. he was fun to watch ...gosh what was his name 1 sec...FRAN SHEENAN !!! my man he was great.
Yeah, I loved that guy too
He’s my cousin also man I love him
Whoever recorded this with a potato was genius!
The girl as long been gone but the music is still true 🤟
RIP Brad Delp.
RIP Brad Delp
Chuck Norris on solo guitar.
No. Tom Scholz
No. Tom Scholz
My bad I must have swiped back to this video by mistake. My earlier comment was not for this clip. The one I was commenting on didn't have the solo at the end. And yes I must likely was high.
Another live performance ruined by scholz's "need" to do another 1+ minute guitar solo. Other than that, it was awesome.
He's been doing that since 1977. Expect it and don't complain. I like them
@@jacobreavis3510 The 1970s versions were really good too, with that extended, tension-building outro.
nah, they're kinda boring actually...
@@jacobreavis3510
Without Tom there would not have been Boston.
U Know nothing John Snow. Boston was a One man band he played every instrument sung every part. Band only exist to perform live. Like Prince's first three albums.
Lyrics:
I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away
It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
'Til I see Marianne walk away
I see my Marianne walkin' away
So many people have come and gone
Their faces fade as the years go by
Yet I still recall as I wander on
As clear as the sun in the summer sky
It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
'Til I see Marianne walk away
I see my Marianne walkin' away
When I'm tired and thinking cold
I hide in my music, forget the day
And dream of a girl I used to know
I closed my eyes and she slipped away
She slipped away
It's more than a feeling (more than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play (more than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming (more than a feeling)
'Til I see Marianne walk away

Who was that younger guy singing with Brad?
Carolan Ivey Fran Cosmo singing with Brad....he sang on WALK ON & CORPORATE AMERICA albums.
Every singer loses range as they age. Its inevitable whether youre brad delp or mariah carey the high notes are gone after 35.
Carolan Ivey Thought it was Michael Sweet, but he playef with Boston after Brad died, right?
Sweet sang on the 2008 tour only.
