I've been in love with that exact Longines DolceVita for over a year now. It's actually priced at a good point for an attainable luxury watch, and to me the design is classic art deco. Longines makes quality watches (I have a Longines Flagship I'm wearing as I type). I'm determined to find this watch and buy it at some point in the near future.
Some interesting choices here. I was half expecting you to include the Baume & Mercier ‘Hampton’ in there. Considering so many brands are adopting the look, it really goes to show that the rectangular styled watch is a classic design. ✊
You can also go with a freshly serviced American made vintage piece from 1920’s-1950’s. Most are 30mm plus X 20mm plus rectangles with in-house handwound movements - real pieces of history, for only a few hundred bucks 👌
I have the silver and rose gold Rotary versions shown in this video. As well as several other Rotary tanks. They are amazing value for money. Thanks for giving them some air time on your channel.
As per my searching in the web the tanks has china movements, rotary though british brand, it is owned by a china company, if it the watch does say swiss made which follows it has a swiss movements, the movements are mostly china for the quartz, while the automatic does not have a swiss made in it, have the miyota which are japanese movements.
I have a hamilton pan europ, tag heure F1, wenger aerograph for my swiss made watches. While for the japanese ones are the seiko sarb, orient perpetual calendar.
I'd call the majority of these Cartier tank clones rather than Reverso alternatives. To me, it doesn't qualify unless you can actually flip the dial over.

You won't be dissapointed. I own a DolceVita and it's the most beautiful piece in this design language not to mention it's such a versatile watch.
By far my pick would be the Oris Rectangular. Older models can be dull but the most recent ones honestly look as good as the actual JLCs.
I love the DolceVita with the arabic numerals... its a beautiful watch! its on my list and I hope to get it soon

Is the movement of rotary watches reliable?
@@MichaelV89 I think they are Japanese quartz for the most part unless stated Swiss Made in the dial. So yes.

how is it holding up so far?
Its a shame no one talks about the new Longines Dolce Vita. Overshadowed by other models
Is better than other brands of lower price range?
I had some serious difficulty finding one of those.
@@92om98 should be. Its Longines!
I went for the dolce vita in quartz since it is smaller in size
Longines is super cool!!😍
May I add the Lip Churchill. They make an 18 and 24mm width.
Can you please write down the full names of the watches in the description or a comment so people can look them up / search for them easily?
The longines is gorgeous.
Love your voice 😍 could listen to you all day
The longines Dolce Vita...is Great!
Do any of them actually reverse with a solid bavk to protect the watch?
Where are you finding rotary for 200 aud

The Dolce Vita doesn’t look like the Cartier, in my opinion.
What is the movement of Rotary watches? How reliable is it?
Looked everywhere to buy the rotary reverso couldn't find it.
Same here.
Any under $200?
Many bulova from the 50s (his excellency series, Academy Award series) Omega T17, Vintage Cyma or Hamilton
@@alessandrosette6955 any new ones?
معلومه مفيده 👍
Where is Oris?😁🙏
That Peugeot looks like GRUEN curvex 500 cal
Michel Herbelin Citadine 17468/08
Did not know the watch but it surely looks the most similar to the JLC.
Meh... Just save up and get a Reverso.
I don't regret doing precisely that.
It's Rotary Revelation and Evolution, not Relevation and Revolution..
So, in other words - no alternative to the Reverso. I want an automatic reversible, not quartz!
None of these reverse LOL
Save for JLC, it’s worth it. Don’t buy the alternative, you will always want the real deal. Trust me, I’ve been there before. Now no regrets.
