This walking video of Rimini Italy, was filmed on 03.08.2023 starting at the Arch of Augustus . Rimini is the touristic city of İtaly. Rimini is a city in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy and capital city of the Province of Rimini. It sprawls along the Adriatic Sea, on the coast between the rivers Marecchia (the ancient Ariminus) and Ausa (ancient Aprusa). It is one of the most notable seaside resorts in Europe with revenue from both internal and international tourism forming a significant portion of the city's economy. It is also near San Marino, a small nation within Italy. The first bathing establishment opened in 1843. Rimini is an art city with ancient Roman and Renaissance monuments, and is also the birthplace of the film director Federico Fellini.

Ein wunderbares Video! Ohne Musik, ohne lästige Kommentare.....einfach genial, als wäre man selber dort! Was ich etwas vermißt habe, ist das "Borgo San Giuliano", mit den Wandmalereien und den niedrigen Häuschen, wo Fellini geboren ist! RIMINI ist meine "2. Heimat", seit ca. 66 Jahren! Ich kenne noch den alten Fischmarkt, wo auf den Marmorbänken, auf gecrashtem Eis, frischer Fisch verkauft wurde! Den Wochenmarkt (immer am MI und SA) habe ich auch etwas vermißt! Jetzt ist er vom Bahnhof Richtung Stadt, auf der Piazza Tre Martiri und erstreckt sich dann zum Augustusbogen.....und weiter Richtung Ausgrabungen. Früher war er auf der Piazza Cavour (bis noch vor einigen Jahren!), entlang des Theaters, auf der linken Seite, dann beim Castello Sismondo vorbei, bis zum Kreisverkehr, und unten um das Castello herum.....Auch der neu renovierte Bahnhof wäre interessant gewesen. Er ist vor einigen Jahren sehr gut restauriert worden, ohne viel Altes zu zerstören! Auf der Piazza Tre Martiri war ganz früher übrigens der Busbahnhof, wodurch der ganze Platz bei jedem Start eines Busses in Dieselgestank gehüllt wurde!.....Ich bin jedes Jahr mindestens einmal in Rimini und besuche dort auch manchmal einen Italienischkurs in einer sehr guten Uni für Ausländer, seit 1999! Such happy times we spent in Rimini during the sixties. We drove from Ostend through Europe to visit many areas of Italy and enjoyed such fabulous times. I’m in my late 70s now and I can still recall, my wonderful Italian holiday romances with fantastic evenings, dancing under the stars, with the delightful Male Italian friends we spent ‘innocent’ hours with. It was Romance then, no sex, no drugs, just pure delight. Thankfully I can recall with such pleasure the loads of happy memories we experienced on our regular visits to Italy Jimmy Fontana’s I’l Mondo, is by far my favourite Romantic song which I have in my Italian record collections. Thank you so very much, for giving me the opportunity to revert to my youth and recall so many happy days, and memories. Absolutely delightful. Those were the days, when I was very slim, with very dark thick hair, blue eyes, but very white skin, which did not tan at all. I was a fascination to them, as the beautiful Italian girls had wonderful tanned skin and magnificent dark hair. So thank you again for this wonderful video.
