- There is no train or railway to San Marino. But it can be reached by bus from the Italian city of Rimini, which is the most usual jumpoff point to San Marino. Whether you’re coming from Venice, Milan, Florence, Bologna or any other major Italian city, here's how to get there!
Note that costs, hours and availability might have changed due to the pandemic, so contact the respective establishment directly for more updated info.

You guys made a really detailed and useful explanation. Thanks a lot!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
As someone who was born in italy san marino is probably the easiest country to sneak into
Thank you so much for these detailed instructions! We’re going to Italy next month and we’re hoping to make San Marino a stop.

Good video! I'll be staying in Bologna next month and getting the train down to Rimini from there. I'm thinking I might book up to stay overnight in Rimini so I can get on the first bus to San Marino the following morning. I should have more time to look around when I get there.
Thanks and Well done
Thank you too
Very thurough. I am going tomorrow. Thanks

WELL DONE, thank you for the information. I will have a rental car, is it easy to get from Rimini to San Marino by car or do you recommend via bus anyhow?
Hi! We haven't tried the car rental so we can't compare :(
Nice useful video and recent too! I'm going there in June. One question about the trains would be, I heard some don't need authenticating at the machine (express?), but what happens if you authenticate anyway? I'd be worried about being fined so would always be cautious.
Don't worry so much , recently they change the system and now the tickets with Regionale trains are printed with time , instead of open time tickets so there is no need for validation
I would love to live there
❤❤
Thanks for this video, does anyone know if there any border controls between Italy and San Marino?
No there aren't any border controls
Is there any halal food in San Marino? 😅
Please reply
Sir
Come on! 50% of your video was talking about trains! Show us San Marino. You lost me after 3 minutes
This video is specifically about how to get there. OF COURSE we're mostly gonna talk about transportation. We have a separate video about the attractions in San Marino.
