- Sarah Georgiana’s solo “America’s Sweetheart” at the Dance Moms competition at Fierce Dance Challenge in Sewell, NJ on March 9, 2018. This was filmed for Dance Moms Season 8 Episode 6. Pretty sure it was inspired by American gymnast Mary Lou Retton who won the gymnastics and became America’s Sweetheart, many years ago.

I feel like Sarah is soo underrated!! Her dancing is beautiful and she’s super flexible, she’s one of the best acrobats that I’ve seen on the show. She should definitely get more recognition... she’s sooo good!

Jordan Sparks well it was preformed two times one for judges one for angles (when the camera man is on stage) so she messed up the back tuck when she preformed for the judges other than that this was a great solos the tricks were outstanding

She probably messed up when she performed for the judges and they edited her solo mistake into the camera performance.

Cameras roll for both performances. Can’t have a guy on stage for close ups when you’re being scored. They do pull back shots for the scoring.

Interesting... in this version she nailed the tuck, but in the version on the show she fumbled... poor girls the only thing that gets aired on the show are their mistakes in the dance rather than performances like this which was all but flawless. I have huge amounts of sympathy for all the dancers who have to deal with the stress from both the ALDC and the producers of the show

They perform once for the completion and once for they cameras so she missed it when she was doing it for the cameras
They perform twice: once for filming and once for judging. She nailed the back tuck in the filming performance, but messed up in the judging one, so the producers decided to use that shot instead. It sucks because it’s not fair. 😢

No they preform solos twice one for judges and one for angles (when the guy is on stage) so she messed up while preforming for the judges hope that clears it up :)
@@jfo941 OMG you guys need to watch more Dance Moms videos because you guys are clearly not aware about the dances being performed twice! ONCE for CAMERA'S (with the man running around onstage) and ONCE AGAIN for ACTUAL JUDGING (they only film for 1 or 2 angles in that version!)

her technique reminds me of brynn, her flexibility reminds my of brooke, and her tumbles remind me of mackenzie
For everyone confused they do their routines twice . The first time is this one when they record it for the show the second time is when they actually get judged and their is no camera man on stage. She messed up in the actual judges one because she didn’t stick the landing
They made it look like she messed up her solo when she didn't
Actually they did air this dance. It was the only solo aired bc GiaNina solo was pulled. But the one not aired was Savanah solo called Its Not My Fault

Actually they are starting to use real competions now so maybe there won't be the camera that records above a lot so they have the camera man on stage for angles
riley ford lets hope they don’t go to fake competitions now but I don’t think fierce wasn’t fake but now their placing is accurate in competitions except for elianas Carrie solo she deserves to win
idk, some of the dances this season have been filmed with the overhead camera too

Sami Marecek they perform once for the actual judging and once for the show. So she missed it when she was supposed to perform for the show.
They record both performances. One is for the show and the other is the actual routine for judges (just not with the camera man on stage) chances are she made the mistake in front of the judges and edited the show to use her mistake as oppose to the perfect way she did it for cameras
