- ALDC’s group dance “Widows” at the Dance Moms competition at Fierce Dance Challenge in Sewell, NJ on March 9, 2018. This was filmed for Dance Moms Season 8 Episode 6. Dancers are Lilliana Ketchman, Hannah Colin, Gianina Paolantonio, Sarah Georgiana, Pressley Hosbach, and Savannah Kristich.

Allison Gruetzner Well I may be wrong. But in my mind the term “unaired” suggests never going to be aired rather than going to be aired later on.
Makayla Arnoldi usually when people say unaired they mean that the show hasn’t shown it. this could be either that it will show later or it will never show.

Kids were messy, costumes are a little questionable, the fade between the songs is NONEXISTENT, and the screams are just...so so weird. What even is this dance. I mean, the girls rocked it especially lily and Savannah in my opinion but the concept is just, not there

They were kind of messy but this choreography is one of the hardest Abby has ever choreographed for a group. Even the old competition team couldn't all do turns on this coordinated
The reason the change was non existent is because the second music played to quick

I was not expecting the upbeat music in the 2nd part of the dance lol! But the turn sequence was great, especially Lilly's turns I think :) Lilly kept up very well during the turning sequence. (Just my personal opinion). I don't know why in the commercial for this week they made it look like she was scared at the end... maybe that was her facial expression for the dance. But it didn't seem like the ending facial expression here... so that part was confusing. Anyway to me they did a pretty great job!
Well they didn't record this one. They do two separate dances. One for the judges and one for the show
I think it might be based off of the musical Chicago. It has a similar storyline where 6 women kill there husbands and pretend to be innocent. Idk that's just my opinion

I think it was another failed Abby concept. Either that or the kids can’t act as in the beginning I think they were supposed to act upset about their deceased husband but I don’t think they understand the concept and it isn’t appropriate for their age...

The dance should be enough... For me those screaming noise are 1)disrespectful 2)means that they are not that good as they should be able to express with their moves not their mouths.. If it is not enough well they are not good then 3)the fact music at the end makes it even more disturbing and disrespectful

SRSLY like I love upbeat fast routines, and also the acting in the beginning was great. They really pulled this off, and Oml that turn sequence. Legit all these girls are good turners, especially Presley
This dance was strange, I like the choreo, but it was a bit messy and I hated the screaming, also the upbeat music was really unexpected

simplystephy it’s not the girls fault if the choreography is bad. Putting Brady in this choreography wouldn’t have made it different

No it’s about there pretending to be sad but in reality there Actually happy watch the episode sweetie
its not that life goes on when i watched it, abby was saying that they were joyful for his death either that it was not a happy marriage or one person didnt like the other something like that and the sad bit at the start was how she was actually covering the sadness but later on celebrating
Angie Alezy if they don’t have permission to use that song on their show then it will be. Copyright on TV usually results in actually being sued rather than on UA-cam when sometimes it’s not worth the hassle of taking it to court. I believe in a few of the episodes they have changed the song to something that matches the dance or they change the pitch of the song. If you ever watched Glee and wondered why the words were changed and the sound was different this is why.
If you turn the sound off and forget what the story is supposed to be it’s actually good

The story of the dance is about wives that are glad that their husbands died because they hate him. They did not scream Brady they were saying why and the screams are supposed to sound awful because it's supposed to be obvious they aren't actually sad.

I promise I'm just saying my opinion but I kinda didn't like how Abby made them yell "No why!" in the beginning of the piece. I'm ngl I couldn't understand what they were saying until I read the comments. This dance was okay, but definitely my least favorite.
Because they had to make it sound dramatic and fake so more people get the concept.

Greg Silverman the theme of the dance is that their husband died and they are pretending that they miss him in front of his family but they don’t and never liked him and happy that he is gone

That wasn't the end of the dance, that was 0:56 part that they filmed. If you look close on Lily's face (your left side) you can actually see that facial expression they recorded.

Finally Abby has a united team of dancers who are all doing the right cheography all intime with each other and all dancers at a similar skill level instead of Maddie at obe level and MOST of the old origionals Soooo far BELOW Maddie and McKenzies level. Kalarni was good but went downhill once she decided to follow the origional Irreplacable wannabe forgotten girls and mother's.
