Thanks for sharing! I always love testimonial videos!
I love your energy. I can't wait to see more content. It's great to hear about life as a Black woman in a country where's there's not a lot of us. My husband is from Poland and when we go there I can go weeks without seeing another brown face.
Thanks for watching! At first it was a bit of an adjustment and I do love to just see Black people out and about, but nobody bothers me and I’m having an amazing experience everywhere I go
@@AwkwardBlackNomad I haven't had any problems either. Sometimes people look surprised to see me but they keep it pushing. Polish people mind their own business in general.
Great video and very informative. I have been looking for you in reference to traveling with your 2 dogs. I saw you on Stephanie Perry channel/interview.☺ I have my 1 dog and he go everywhere I go pretty much. I am planning to country bobbing in 2024. I will be one of your followers. Thank again.
Awesome! Thank you! Expect to see some dog content as well. Getting my dogs to Europe was a journey lol
You are so awesome! Love your energy girlll
Thank you so much!!
Watching from south Africa. Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!! 🥹
Could you do a part two, focusing on writing styles within copywriting? 🖤
When you say writing styles, what do you mean? Different mediums, varying tones, styles for different industries?
@@AwkwardBlackNomad Styles for different industries could be cool :)
Very informative video. It was also great to see you again in Cape Town!
Glad you enjoyed it! It was great seeing you too
I did internships for the first time in my 40s...most of which didn't pay at all 😏
Hot take: it takes a lot of courage to learn something new. It was the best decision I’ve made for my career. Also, learning how to leverage that experience
Great video! Very Helpful. When looking for remote jobs, I have found it difficult to find remote work-from-anywhere jobs. Most remote jobs that I see are tied to a specific state or to the U.S. at large. How did you find your truly remote job? I look forward to reading your first blog post 🙂.
Thank you! Don’t let that discourage you. Many jobs won’t list “work-from-anywhere” because you will still have to have residency in the US. They don’t want expats applying. If you’re looking to relocate and still need to work, search for copywriting jobs in other countries.
@@AwkwardBlackNomad I hear you, though why should they care if you're an expat as long as you are getting the job done? How did you find your job work-from-anywhere job? Getting hired outside of the U.S. I guess would be fine if the pay was comparable. Is that what you did? I am definitely not trying to get paid in pesos, you know?Lol.
They have to pay more taxes and I was told it’s a bit complicated. I found my job on LinkedIn but didn’t specify work-from-anywhere. You can ask during the interview if they have a policy for nomads. Also, pay will be different but so will cost of living expenses in other countries and benefits of course
Hi Keyoka! I have two questions:
-If you guest write for a travel, food, etc. online magazine, are you a copywriter or something else? Do industries like this use copywriters or writers in general?
-When the search engine searches for keywords (ex. breast cancer) are personal blogs writing about breast cancer “competing” with say a Mayo Clinic site in the rankings when also writing my about breast cancer?
I feel like I need to build out more content! 😅
1. Yes to all of this. It’s the same role but could have a different title, could not, just read the description. Also if you’re doing travel writing, you’ll have to pitch which is a whole thing and separate for what I’m talking about in this video.
2. Yes but google does a great job of indexing. For a high volume KW like “breast cancer” you’ll need a long tail KW that has a low difficulty and is more specific so it’s geared towards your target audience
Yes, pitching! My least favorite thing. lol I believe I have it separate in my head now. I think.
That is super helpful, using a long tail keyword as opposed to “just” using breast cancer.
And I’m here for all the content. 😊
And thank you! 🙌🏾
Hello, how has AI changed the content writing industry? Thank you
We’re still far away from screens replacing hands. I leverage AI to work faster, but that unique, personable voice is still all me. I’ve seen brands struggle because they rely too heavily on generic AI produced copy that can be found elsewhere. There’s also a longer answer that involves Google but it’s probably another video. 🤔 Thanks for watching!
