I apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with your audio setup after trying the solution from the video. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
      Check Device Manager:
Right-click on the Start button and select “Device Manager.”
Look for the “Sound, video and game controllers” section.
Check if the High Definition Audio device is listed. If it’s missing or has an exclamation mark, there may be a driver issue.
      Update Audio Drivers:
Right-click on the High Definition Audio device (if listed) and select “Update driver.”
Choose to search automatically for updated driver software. Windows may find and install the appropriate driver.
      Reinstall Audio Drivers:
If updating the driver doesn’t work, you may need to reinstall the audio driver.
Download the latest audio driver from your laptop manufacturer’s website or the audio chipset manufacturer’s website.
Uninstall the current audio driver from Device Manager, then install the downloaded driver.
      Check HDMI Connection:
Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected between your laptop and the TV.
Try using a different HDMI port on the TV or a different HDMI cable.
      Restart Windows Audio Service:
Press Win + R, type “services.msc,” and press Enter.
Locate “Windows Audio” service, right-click, and select “Restart.”
      Run Audio Troubleshooter:
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
Run the “Playing Audio” troubleshooter to identify and fix audio playback issues.
      System Restore:
If the issue started after a recent change, consider using System Restore to revert Windows to a previous state when audio was working.
If these steps don’t resolve the problem, please provide more details about your laptop model, operating system, and any recent changes that may have caused the issue. Feel free to reach out for further assistance.
