Interesting. In Australia, we list Bourjassotte Noire (French) as the same as a Violet de Sollies (Spanish), while Brogiotto Nero is identified as a different fig variety. I have both, and they are different.

Do you mean to say that all or most Bourjasotte Noire figs have FMV? Do you have a list of figs that are most/more likely to harbor FMV? Also- can you make a video re: consequences of grafting an FMV scion onto a frankenfig. Thx- very good info! (9a)

I saw an old video of yours yesterday and you had a list of same/similar fig cultivars and what it takes to identify the same fig under a different name. I'm just acquiring my very first trees and agree that the list is a really great idea for someone starting out who wants to get a few trees that are very different from each other rather that three varieties of Brown Turkey. Maybe farther on it would be great to try to find the absolute best Chicago Hardy type, but right now I want fruit that is as different from each other as possible.
Do you still have that list or spread-sheet anywhere? I've looked a bit and didn't see it. And my google-foo sucks, so I didn't find any similar lists out there either.

September or October. Right now the weather is frigid and the trees have no leaves.
