I've also loved the attention to detail in this scene, Loki's eyes look sunk in and dark! They are tom's natural blue in this movie, instead of green, and just as the scene is ending you can see Loki stumble and grunt in pain!! Brilliant!!!

He said "Well then" not "Kill him", my gues is, that he didn't meant to kill anyone, but he was forced into this sutuation. He needed the stone and I doubt they would have given it to him peacefully, thus he had to resort to violence to get it. This doesn't mean he had to kill everyone , he already took the stone, and Fury wasn't much of a threat, Loki probably left him to be buried alive under the rubble.

NGL I felt a ton of whiplash going from Avengers to the Loki series. I get that a lot of time has passed between making the movies but he feels like a completely different character in what would be a few hours.

Loki in the eairly films: A God and Frost-Giant, has superhuman stats superior to super-soldiers level (strength, speed and reflexes), he is also an expert asgardian warrior with toons of wars experience, had powers like: telekinesis, complex illusions, astral projection, cast spells, materialise weapons, absorbs powers, teleports objects, healing factor, throws blasters, protect his face with what seems to be magical barrier, can make 20 images of himself simultaneously, ability of transform people into everything he wants, was capable of affect to some extent other people's minds (without The Scepter) and freerly see their memories. He was bulletproof, could withstands blows from The Hulks, survived being thrown out of a plane, not hurt by IronMan's the repulsors beams, tanked a point-blank shot from The Destroyer Gun made specially for superhumans international security threats and being full hit by Thor's lightning. Was capable of clear Military Units, super-soldiers, Frost-Giants and asgardians warriors (some of them lower deitites) without help.
Current Loki: Has problem in beating normal, human people, through all the show, is vulnerable now to steel based weapons so not even talking about firepower, and one big average man ragdolled him in a supermarket several times.
In ten years: Loki gets hit by a bicycle in street and dies.

It's just the thing that many people think today, video games doesn't start to have anything to do with it, this looks like a video game for you? Do you have a complain? Loki like all the characters was introduced some less powerful than they originals versions, ok gotcha, but Loki is the only character that since his first appearence has been nerfed as hell in the next projects, without logic or without even an explanation to begin it, in each release he got less powerful and weaker, and in the series none couldn't not notice that anymore since he is now in his weakest point. He went from being a demi-god and half frost giant, that represent a deity in a mythos and held a considerable magic and strenght, to be like an skilled human with some magic tricks, so that lacks of a lot consistency. Is not so hard display him like he is supposed to be, how it was in the very same MCU.

I'm just saying a point, that today is a fact, about a certain specific area from a character that has been nerfed and downplayed without any logic, explanation and no even for the sake of plot reasons, downgrading all his set of skills and make others just fade away as If they never existed in the first place, which is pretty noticiable. Saying that those changes doesn't matter or directly not exist because Loki purpose as a character mere represent just a "trickster" is not a good excuse for gap the lack of neccesary explanation, and is lie considering that his powers and true nature were a major point in the way he percieved himself in Thor movies and cause conflict with other characters. He is a demi-god of thousands years old and son of allfather Odin, he embodies the asgardian God of Trickery and Lies, the illusion and magic, represents a divine pantheon, and he is also a warrior that uses the head but an elite as well, and has displayed a certaint level of power while being also a Frost-Giant mythical being. So I'm not imagining it, it literally happened, being this video just one of many proofs. I guess that If in the next project he is simply displayed as a regular human It will be normal for some people because Loki in the end is just a "trickster", his status as trickster is certantly going through from god trickster to joe trickster pretty fast. In the end, I never said I don't like MCU or how the story of the character is going foward, but that doesn't means this doesn't exist.

Why is no one pointing out that Loki was tortured before coming to earth? Like he looks the worst physically here than any other point in the movie. (It took the hulk to actually draw blood from him and even by the end of it he seems fine when you see him walking properly w/no issues with Thor at the end of the movie)

Looking at this scene, you can see that the brainwashed person's intelligence and judgment are enhanced. (Barton and Dr. Selvig)
In the Thanos movie, he uses the Stone at the end to cloud Thor's judgment. I don't think thor was aiming for the chest.

Cap can lift way more than 800lbs in the MCU. He lifts between 2-5 tons, based on how he threw that bike and crushed that jeep in AOU. He might be even stronger than that, given how he held back Thanos for a moment.

So I rewatched the first Thor recently and damn that last bifrost scene hits so different. He didn't want the throne, knew that Odin would wake soon, and tried to kill all the Jotuns so that he could appear worthy. He even goaded Thor with the threat to Jane, maybe in hopes that Thor would kill him - thus wiping out every last Jotun. He was so lost in betrayal and rage at the end that when Thanos picked him up after he fell into the void, Thanos might have had an empty shell to work with. The End credits of the first Thor shows how absolutely crappy Loki looked in the reflection. We don't know what happened but it's obvious that Loki was being used as a pawn by Thanos.

I can’t help but feel humbled at how great of a villain Loki was in this film, and now he’s humbled himself after the stuff from TVA. But this time, he’s the hero not of Earth, not of the Universe, but the whole Multiverse. I’ve loved Loki since Dark World, and now my love for his character has ever grown so much.
I can’t help but geek out especially with the latest events that have occurred in the latest episodes.

I saw a pintrest post claiming Loki had likely been tortured by Thanos before arriving on Earth in Avengers... and how strained he looks in this scene... as well as him nearly falling over as they leave at the end of this clip were things I probably wouldn't have noticed without that post.

it wasn't really "controlling him", it's more accurate to say that it was enhancing the hatred and resentment he felt towards Thor and Earth's inhabitants, thus making him act in ways he otherwise wouldn't, not due to the Mind Stone controlling him, but by overloading his mind with his own inner hatred and resentment
Doesn't change the fact that he's still a genocidal maniac that also nearly wiped out 2 planets and was involved in the deaths of thousands of innocents. Marvel only changes or retcons things to appease their child hearted fans who cant deal with the fact that the character they love is a cold blooded killer that views us mortals as ants to be stepped on. No shame in liking him I guess but that says more about us than the character of Loki.
