- I love being able to create 3D pieces, and this one did not disappoint. The snowglobes can be challenging but are so worth it when they turn out. I hope this helps. Enjoy 😉

I love this! I love the way you worked around the micro bubble situation. I would have cried and gave up. Thank you for sharing. Love your videos and your style.
Awe, thanks sooo much. ❤️
Absolutely Perfect! You Got Me Wanting To Try One. Lol. 🥰
You should! 😃 They are challenging at times, but it's so satisfying when it works. Good luck.
That turned out amazing. I love the swirling pearlescent in the mica, really beautiful. I couldn’t see any micro bubbles in the end result. I had micro bubbles in a small piece a few months ago that I couldn’t get rid of no matter what I tried. Usually my heat gun just takes care of them but, not this time! Alcohol spray? Nope. Torch? Nope.😂 I ended up scraping out all of that layer and starting over. I’ve been doing resin for a few years now and hadn’t dealt with such stubborn bubbles before, not with that brand either. It was the first time I’d used a pump dispenser tho so, it might have been that. I got rid of the pumps.😅 I have a couple of skulls I want to pour but, I’m going to have a lot of clear resin for that design. So, I’m just going to get a vacuum chamber I think. That should eliminate any frustration before hand.. I hope!😆 Great job, the ocean theme is wonderful.
Thank you. Bubbles can be a struggle at times. I found that if the temperature of the room is below 70° they are much harder to get out. Good luck with your pieces. 😃
This is simply stunning work. I love that you explain the sticking points you experienced along the way and things you would or wouldn’t do again. I always say that we learn more from our errors than successes!
Youve inspired my future projects!❤
Awe! Thank you 😊 I have definitely learned from my mistakes, and I make many 😆
Wishing you the best with your creations. 👍
@@resincreators we all do😂👍🏻 only human lol
You’re a genius! I’ve watched a couple of snow globe resin videos, but it was such a difficult project, I would never attempt it. You found a very easy way to pull it off. Great job!
Awe! You're so sweet. Thank you. I'm always looking for new ways to up my game. These are challenging but fun.
Absolutely gorgeous.. 💦 Great video and I love the outcome of the underwater look.
Thank you. 😊
Oh wow this is so awesome. To me it looks like the desert. Like the moss is the cactuses and the seashells are the sand. A very amazing piece
Thanks so much. ❤️
Very good job and great information on this project. Thanks for sharing
Thanks so much ☺️
I’m speechless! There is so much to look at! Great job, even if some of it was not planned.
Thank you!
Thank you so much ❤️ I love how bright the seaweed is against the blues and the pebbles 😃
I love, love, love it!!!
Awe! Thanks so much ☺️
It is freakin’ cool!!! I love it!!! The imperfections from the mould release spray makes it look like marks you get when you look at a real skull, just a different colour.
AWE! Thank you 😊
Wow, stunning work! Love this, fantastic work : )
Thanks so much. 😃
That is so pretty. I'm really digging the shells and the moss. I've got the lip cut off the bulb, getting ready to do mine this week. Thanks for sharing
Yay! Good luck 👍 The waiting is brutal but when it turns out, it makes it so worth it.
Spectacular!❤thank you
THANK YOU 😊
That is awesome!! ❤
😃
Beautiful artwork ❤
Very beautiful piece!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
Fantastic piece of art ❤
Thank you so much 😀
Get the Resiners bubble remover machine... you would be glad you did. If you pour with bubble in your resin... you're going to get bubbles in your finished project. Nice design though...
Thank you 😊
Wow! Gorgeous ❤
Very cool!❤
Amazing!
Love the skull!! Amazing work!!
You're so sweet. Thanks so much.
This is awesome! It's so cool to see how you did this.
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. 👍

Thank you 😊
Awesome! Not seen this effect before
Your video is great! You explain everything well! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks so much. I appreciate it.
Absolutely Stunningly beautiful wow xxxx
Thanks so much ☺️
Love this. I think some starfish, seahorses and pearls would look cool in the globe. ❤
Thank you. I did add a real (dried) starfish to one, and it did look cool. It was hard to see, though, because it sat at the bottom until it was shaken.
Wow that came out awesome. Love it.
@@PixieWitch626 Thank you 😊
awesome
I'm using a bit of baby oil or dishwasher soap for easy mold removal.
Yes, it definitely helps. I get so excited about demolding I always forget. I need to be better about it. I'm sure it helps make the molds last longer also.
I love it! Ty
❤️
Absolutely love it! Thank you 💀🌸
Thank you 😊
That’s so cool!

That turned out really cool❤

Well done!❤
Thank you 😊
Really beautiful !
Thank you 😊
I love the skull I am doing one of my own hopefully it turn out as good as yours.
Thank you. It's trial and error. Hopefully this helps. I can do everything right, and it turns out awful . Other times, I just wing it, and it comes out amazing. Resin is fickle at times. 😆
This is amazing! The clarity and working of the moss and shell is great!
Thank you. 😊
It is beautiful. Thank you. 😊
Thank you
This is pretty amazing. Thanks for helping us to learn too!!
Thank you 😊
Great job!
Thank you so much 💓
Wow! This is absolutely amazing!! Now this is the kind of snow globe I could definitely do. ❤❤❤
Thank you 😊
Great job 💙
Thank you 😊
OHHH!!!! I love this! You have a fantastic creative mind Sister. Thanks so much for showing us this.
Awe! Thanks so much. ❤️
It looks really good!!
Thank you
❤❤❤❤❤❤
With that mold release, you're supposed to work it into the mold, and wait until it dries. If you're not allowing that to happen, maybe that's what caused the bubble issue?
Thank you, that makes sense. I don't think I waited. 🤔
Hi Lisa such a beautiful skull 😍 thanks for sharing ❤ xx
Thank you 😊
Great job, it looks fantastic, and I was looking for a tutorial like this! I hope you do another one soon!!
Ty, I'm so glad you liked it, and it was helpful. I have many in the works. I started filming them for myself originally so I could see what I did wrong or what I did right and be able to duplicate it. I'm still learning how to edit, but I'm getting there 🤪
🎉OUTSTANDING SPECTACULAR
Thanks so much ☺️
Wow!!!!!
❤️
brilliant
Thank you 😊
I done one with baby oil. And you can colour the oil seperate to the water and have the water a different colour. Bit as the oil floats you mostly only see the oil colour unless the whole thing is clear
Ooh! I like that idea 💡 like a lava lamp...brilliant.
Wow awesome 💀💀
Thanks 😅
@@resincreators your welcome I need to give the skull snow globes a go myself :)
Have fun with it. There are so many possibilities. 😃
Cool job 👍, greetings from Ukraine 🇺🇦👋 Excellent 👍
Thank you so much 💓
This really is fantastic. I love the ocean theme. I wish I was more of a skull fan, as there are some pretty cool things being made with the skull mold, this being one of my favourites!
Not only is the ocean theme absolutely fantastic, but paired with the skull, it could also be made into something pirate themed…
Thank you. I know skulls are not for everyone. I get it. I love the pirate theme idea. 😍
I want him
maybe this will help. 1st do a layer of resin in 5he skull just high enough to where you are going to place the bottom of the bulm, let the resin to set just enough for the bulb to lie on top of the resin without the bulb sinking this helps the bulb not move around then pour the rest of the resin. It takes a little longer but helps a lot .If you have a resin curing machine like I, it only takes 1 hour for the resin to set just enough to make the resin firm enough to do this. I do this method a lot of I want to do a project where I need more than 1layer and don't want coloured or other things to mix into each other. Hope this helps some people. Marie
Yes, thank you. I have a dehydrator that I use for drying my flowers and realized that the resin drying machine is basically the same thing. I tried it for the first time today on the low setting. It worked great. I'm definitely going to be using it more.
I made one of these about 6 months ago to sell. But then it turned out so good, I couldn't sell it! 😂
Those are the best. Their are plenty that I would not be heartbroken if they didn't sell. But the hubby says I can't keep them all. Lol 😆
I think mixing your shells, or whatever you are adding, with some resin. Move rhem around.
It will ensure no bubbles when submerged in resin.
Yes, that does help 😃
p r e t t y c o o l
Thank you 😊
🥰
Absolutely love this whats the cost
Love this! Did you ever try the Galaxy pour? And if so is there a video?
Thank you 😊 I have not done one yet with the blue combo, but I tried with a red and it turned out cool. ua-cam.com/video/OQSuHkb3ECI/v-deo.htmlsi=1OMtJGalwNjwdWHa
First time I’ve seen your work. Wow that was amazing! Do you sell your work?
Thank you 😊 yes, I sell at local craft shows throughout the year and on my website
Https://www.resinistalisa.com
Wow, this is beautiful. I love skulls. Where did you get the mica powder grom with the holes in the top. Pls tell ❤❤❤😊 Lisa
Thanks so much. I got them from Amazon. They are Baltic Day mica powders. It comes in a set and last forever. I added the link in the description for you if that helps. They are so much easier to use than the little baggies. 😊
Came out great! I saw someone mentioned to rub the mold release I do that and I also spritz some isopropyl 😊 also can i ask where to find the needle thing?? I need one that length but have had no luck
Thank you 😊 I appreciate the feedback. Every little bit helps. You can get the syringes with needles on Amazon, your local pharmacy or the hubby says Walmart sells them also near the pharmacy. A flavor injector would work also (kitchen gadget section) they have a bigger needle, but they would work.
@@resincreators thank you so much I will check it out and yes every little bit does help☺️
It came out great! Where did you get the shells? Can you give me the link please?
These are tiny fairy garden shells. When I can, I will get them at hobby lobby, Walmart, dollar tree or any other craft store and of course, Amazon.
Here is my Amazon associate link:

What size bulb did you use? Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks so much. I appreciate it. This is a 2.36" Christmas bulb. I have links in the description if that helps. 😊
Beautiful work! That swirl effect, is that a result of the glycerin?
Thank you. 😊
No, the swirl effect comes from the mica powder. The glycerin is invisible. It is used as a thickener to slow the flow of the powders, glitters, or whatever items you use inside the bulb.
Will you please tell me where you got the mold and bulb?
Of course. 😃 The mold and bulb are both purchased from Amazon. I have used "Lets Resin" brand along with another that came as a 2 count... The 2.36" clear plastic, fillable christmas bulb can also be found there. Avoid the ones that split apart in the middle. I have the links in the description or simply do a search using the descriptions above. Happy Creating.
Where do you actually get the borbl things from please
Hi Jodie, I ordered them from Amazon. I added the link in the description. They are fillable Christmas balls.
Beautiful skull snow globe, especially the swirl that you get is amazing & I love the "sea-scape".
Bit confused about your measurements though.
You say that you poured the water into the globe & it was 100ml, but you say that you used 500ml water & 500ml Glycerin ........ so ....... did you mean you used 50ml each of water & glycerin or did you mean that when you poured the water into the globe it was 1,000ml (ie 1 litre) ?????
The swirl comes from the mica powder that I added to the mixture.
I apologize. Yes, it would be 50, not 500.
@@resincreators Thanks for the rapid response & the clarification.
Just shown your skull to my 85 year old Mother & she LOVES IT too & (hope this doesn't sound condescending or anything) she wanted me to say that she thinks you are amazingly clever & imaginative to be able to come up with ideas like this.
That's so sweet. I'm glad she enjoyed it. I appreciate the support. 😊
How'd you keep the plastic ornament from expanding and leaking put
I use the solid round ornaments, not the ones that come in two halves. The top part (where the hanger goes) is removed, and I use either a plastic piece to seal it with UV resin or cure a round piece of uv resin the size of the hole to seal it. Then encase it all in resin.
I haven't had any issues with expansion or leaking.
Q? Hello, I’m just starting out, I want to use mica but I am concerned that it is responsibly sourced, not the stuff children have to go down dangerous mines risking death to get.
Do you have a reliable source and whom is it, if you do please?
This turned out really nicely, I’m learning much, thank you 😊
Thank you.
Sorry, I do not have any specifics on sources. Good luck to you. Happy Creating.
What size bulb was used??
It's a 2.36 inch Christmas bulb.
Cool, not entirely thrilled about the way you decided to film tho lol
Well...... I tried 😊
Can I substitute the glycerin for baby oil?
Yes, I have used baby oil before. It has the same effect, but I noticed it does separate more than the glycerin. Have fun.
Try rubbing resin on the globe before putting it in the mold.
That is a great tip 👍 thanks so much. I will definitely be doing that for my next one. 😃
@@resincreators can't wait for that video.
ResinistaLisa The reason your mold release left a film is because that is mold release for PLASTER OF PARIS, you need a silicone mold release
Thank you. That's helpful. I'll have to fix that. 😃
@@resincreatorsYou still made an amazing piece of artwork! Flaws and all, I’d buy it! 😊🇨🇦
No gloves?
I had to go back and re-watch it because I always wear gloves. However, I didn't wear them when handling the UV resin during filming. I was so excited about showing the process (which is no excuse). I forgot to put them on. Fortunately, I am not allergic to it, but I have heard it could happen over time. I apologize for setting a bad example.
