The complex emotion and moments in such simple lyrics just fascinate me. I hate how he’s so underrated. This song legitimately had me in tears even the 5th time listening to it. It’s just the thought of a couple drifting apart in front of their own eyes, and knowing it’s not what they want but convincing themselves it’s what’s right.
