*Edited and re-uploaded! Kayak fishing in the Gulf of Mexico under a gorgeous Florida sunrise! She caught her very first ocean kayak fish, and I caught a monster I was not expecting! We were out looking for triggerfish on the reefs, but we also commonly run into vermillion snapper, red snapper, grouper, bonita (false albacore), black fin tuna, Spanish and king mackerel, etc! When I was working off shore many years ago, we saw Triggerfish all the time,but I thought they were huge Angle Fish.
They are definitely everywhere! Kind of crazy little things… super fun to catch, though!
