Cameron Barton Shawn Crahan literally created the band and produces the sound of their songs giving it that slipknot feel, while Chris does percussion along with Jay, and Joey at the time. They all play their part in the band making slipknot what it is. It’s sad to see him go after all this time but Chris’s replacement in the band fucking killed it with backup vocals at Rock Am Ring, he seems like a good choice so far

It was the end of their .5 tour, 2 years and a half touring, 2 got neck surgery, a bunch of injuries so they weren't that energetic like they were in the first half of 2016.
Man, I never knew that personal traits of band members can affect how I like their music. I can't help but feel bad for Fehn and be disappointed with Corey and Clown. And now listening to their songs is not as enjoyable. I always felt like bands like slipknot would be like brothers to each other, but turns out it is just a COMPANY, ORGANISATION, FIRM. Even if Fehn was wrong, I would just give the money to him just to save good relationship within the band. And thus would be much better for the band because I feel like a lot of people gonna look at them differently and gonna enjoy thek less. I know I do now. And I am a big fan since 2003.
I only discovered Slipknot like 3 years ago, but knew some of their most popular songs for several years at that point. slipknot with their whole mentality gave me something that nobody else had given me. and then the fehn situation happened and something shattered my image of the band, especialy clown and corey. their music continues to be great but i cant help but feel like everything about the band is pretentious and not trustworthy anymore. i dont even think im right with my feelings now but hell, you cant tell me that you call somebody "brother" for decades and then when hes like "please, pay me accordingly" you just kick him into the dirt calling him just "a hired gun" thats thrown into the dirt once its not fun anymore. if it wasnt slipknot i wouldnt listen to anything theyd produce. that fehn situation fucked slipknot in its chaotic purity they represented for me

In jedem Lineup seit Selftitled stand bis vor einem Jahr sein Name, und jetzt soll er nichts weiter gewesen sein als ein "Angestellter" den man nach Belieben schmeißen kann. Ansolut abstoßend ihn und seine Beteiligung an der Band derartig herunterzuspielen und zu diskreditieren. Je mehr man drüber anchdenkt desto widerlicher wird das alles

Chris and clown is important part of Slipknot, early 2000, i just listen slipknot on radio or cassete, no internet, i have no depiction about this band except many picture of clown or Chriss mask print in t shirt, poster, sticker and there word "Slipknot". so when i listen slipknot until nowaday, my mind always flashing Chris mask and clown mask. Iowa and Self-titled were the best albums. After that with each album it was like - well ok, maybe next one is gonna be great. All Out life sucks hard. It sounds absolutely the same as songs from previous album. I hope new album is not gonna sound like that.

@@jagdkotze wusste nicht, dass er postbote ist, witzig irgendwie. ja, ich glaub auch die wenigsten von slipknot hören privat so sachen (alternative death metal), zb. sid oder auch der aktuelle main songwriter jim, der ja auf zeug wie die beatles steht. chris selbst war ein classic hardrock fan (van halen und co) an brandon darner hatte ich nicht gedacht, guter gedankengang. ja, einfach leer lassen glaub ich auch nicht aber man könnte die bühne dann ja auch komplett neu arrangieren, die vorstellung fänd ich auch spannend.

Ich glaube er leidet im Moment am meisten darunter, weil wie bei Joey alle mit dem Finger auf ihn zeigen, er ist Schuld, er habe Chris den Boot gegeben. Chris and clown is important part of Slipknot, early 2000, i just listen slipknot on radio or cassete, no internet, i have no depiction about this band except many picture of clown or Chriss mask print in t shirt, poster, sticker and there word "Slipknot". so when i listen slipknot until nowaday, my mind always flashing Chris mask and clown mask. Its hard to say this band Slipknot without Chris fehn.

Slipknot died after Iowa. Deal with it kiddies you arrived late at the party and were probably not even born when they first came out. Be grateful you get to even see them live anymore because these guys phone in every performance for the last 15 years.
Also if you think "Duality" is a quality song. You most definitely missed the boat.
Iowa and Self-titled were the best albums. After that with each album it was like - well ok, maybe next one is gonna be great. All Out life sucks hard. It sounds absolutely the same as songs from previous album. I hope new album is not gonna sound like that.

Wait, so did Slipknot doesn't even had a concert in 2017 till 2019, or did Chris wasnt joined them?
So in 2017 they published a live album "Day of the Gusano" that was recorded in 2016 Mexico Knotfest, in 2018 they were recording the new album and then they started touring in autumn 2019.
