I love gardening and enjoyed many of the planting selections and displays. It made me sad though to see so many beautiful and healthy plants being removed to plant anew.
Magnificent! It boggles my mind that your privacy screen grew into the Forrest Primeval so quickly. Everything you do in your garden is so elegantly appropriate, and I can't think of anyone more deserving of a sprinkler system, which has got to save you hours and hours every week. I'm so happy to see this post! Hope you and your beloved furred and feathered (I'm so tickled you have a volunteer chicken!) are all well and prospering.
Hi David! It's so nice to hear from you after so long! We appreciate your kind and thoughtful comment, as always! We've been in production mode all last year, filming some spectacular projects that we're excited to release very soon! Not sure if you saw it or not, but we also posted a 4 year timelapse of the backyard, so be sure to check that one out!
You fooled me Janette, well done! Your garden looks amazing as usual. Love what you did with the lamp shades, brilliant idea. Also the ivy wrapped in the hangers is a really good idea . Happy gardening & Easter. Ive just been in the garden too after ages & cant wait for some warmer weather. Take care 😊
I just subscribed!!!! You guys are my new morning ritual following Morning Prayers!!!… it’s so wonderfully relaxing to celebrate your artistry and the amazing beauty you create!!…. God bless you both!!!!
If you put a few soda bottles or cans in the bottom of large containers it allows better drainage, saves on soil, saves on weight, and still allows plenty of soil for the plants. Everything looks fabulous!! Great job :)
Wow!!! There are so many changes ! It boggles the mind . Absolutely gorgeous! Your dedication and tenacity show in the fruits of your labor. 👏👏👏👏take a bow! Oh, and by the way, it's the first time l danced throughout a vlog❤😂😂😂😂
Thank you so much for the kind comment! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the music! It can be a challenge to find music for longer form videos sometimes!
Nice. You being in Florida do you guys have a lot of wash out? what do hurricanes do your garden? All you plants our annuals for me. I wish I could just plant and leave.
Why replace the plants so many times, do they not come back every year. I had a neighbour who had those treese, and they blocked out so much light on the surrounding gardens that they are huge. Eventually they cut them down and nobody could believe the amount of light we gained. Your garden is gorgeous
Thanks for the question. The plants we are replacing are all annuals, so they only live for one season. Up north, the cold weather kills them, but here in Tampa they continue to grow past their life cycle, and begin to look tired. We enjoy them for the extra time we can while they still look good and then replace them. The last year of the video, we started to add more permanent structures in the garden so there is less plants to replace.
Thank you so much! The evergreen trees we used for the privacy hedge are "Brodie Junipers" We love them and also used them in our backyard timelapse that we posted about a month ago! The ones in the front garden were planted in the ground about a year before the ones in the back though.

Thank you! We have been lucky the last few hurricanes 🌀 but, too much water does take out quite a few plants, specially annuals 😓

Beautiful!! And all that work-labor of love. ❤
Quick question: at 21:11, what type of plant is that? (The purple/black one)
là nông dân đang trồng và chia sẻ kinh nghiệm của mình💯 tôi đánh giá cao bạn, cam ơn
❤❤❤
What mondo grass over agapanthus? Looks great!
What kind of trees you use for the privacy hedge/fence and is it dear resistant! Love the transformation

What are those corn stalk looking plants in the front of your privacy trees called? I need them
Not sure if you had explained it previously but what's the reason for the privacy screen in the front?
Letter is show for the public
please write the name of the first song
what's the shrub/tree on 26:11? Does anyone know?
Hi and thank you for your question! That shrub is a "Purple Leaf Shooting Star" (Clerodendrum quadriloculare). Have a great day!
@@MrGardeners thank you so much!
You dig up your entire garden every single year?? It’s all annuals? It’s not even a garden anymore, it’s just a glorified cut flower arrangement 😵
Somehow, in 2024, this gardening style feels outdated…
