- The Paragon EP (1985 - Celestial Records) is the sole release of this Californian AOR/pomp/hard rock band. The track chosen is the EP's opener and an underground classic of the genre.

My ex-husand , Ric Hancock, was the lead singer for this band. I managed them back in the 80's. They had some GREAT stuff. I hope more of it gets released.

My bad ass dad! I haven’t looked but I hope his page is credited in this post. Thank you so much for continuing to honor him, his band and his music. He is still, and even more so a musical genius and I’m so grateful I was raised with this bad ass 80s band playing in my garage!
Wow, how cool! This is such a great song, I keep coming back to it after stumbling upon it a couple years ago. Been looking for a CD copy everywhere and cannot find one. Does your dad sell CD's by any chance? I would buy this album if I could find it.

I saw Paragon play at the Reseda Country Club back sometime in the late 80s or early 90s. I loved this group but they seemed to disappear and I always wondered what happened to them. Thank God for the Internet!!

I had to look up the word "aguanta". I liked what I read! "Aguanta requires that you keep a sustained action, resisting defeat, and holding “it” steady. Aguanta pushes you to endure ’til the end".
