After many years of owning Japanese and italian bikes and saying I would never own a Harley-Davidson quests what I bought 2018 ultra limited and now I see what I have been missing out on it’s an awesome motorcycle
I like my 2019 ultra limited. I agree with all the points you made. I use it just out and about or even go to the store. The size is not a problem. Stay safe
I love my 2018 black and silver one I have had for 21m. Very comfortable and I often ride two up. My only concern is the weight - you have to be careful where you park! On the move the weight is no problem at all. I would feel happier to have a reverse gear as a just in case.
I wonder if Harley will ever have a reverse gear. I used to think that I don’t need that but as I’m getting older I’m like this is a heavy bike. Ride safe!
I am not a rich person like some of you, I have an 09 Ultra Classic. I went from. Goldwing, which being 6’3” i always felt cramped. To a Yamaha Venture, I never cared how the Ventures handled in corners to my Ultra. I like the room, how it handles and the looks
Have a 17 limited and my only nit pick is that I can't see the tick marks on the speedometer under all day light conditions. Ditto for the LCD display. Otherwise, agree 100% with your impressions.
Some interesting points you made about your Beautiful Bike. I like the factory charging ports it provides. As long as You & Wifey love it, that's all that matters. I see where on comment is dogging you about the Miles but you can only ride when you can ride. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Chris you’re right I haven’t had the bike for long but already planning a 3000 mile trip this summer. That darn work thing keeps getting in the way
We got ours at Erie bikefest last year. Bag and the rack. Has rain cover and lock with it. I got the magnet for gas cap also. It's simple but it works. 👍
Bo Dean 52 I don’t know about you but if I haven’t rode my bike for a week or it’s just me not being used to the hydraulic clutch I have to get used to it all over again hopefully that will get better in time there’s a company that makes aftermarket levers that are adjustable I thought about getting a set of those
Great looking bike! Very similar to my '18 Road Glide Ultra. At 6'7 I needed the extra couple of inches plus a tall boy seat so it didn't look like I was riding a Honda Trail 50. LOL
I’m on my third Ultra Limited and I couldn’t be happier. Some say the Road Glide handles better but I disagree. Never had a handling problem with the Ultra. One of the popular moto pubIications did a comparison between the two and they both handled the same. Must be a matter of perception. So it comes down to style. I don’t like the RG dash and the bug eye’d headlights. That fairing is just plain ugly to me. Your mileage may vary. Ride far, ride safe.
Thanks brother and the fairing and dash is the look I don’t care for as well. I love this bike and nice to hear people keeping buying them over and over. Ride safe and often!
I am not positive anymore as I sold this bike and changed the seat to a Mustang one Piece two up seat which I love. Appreciate you checking out the video and ride safe!
Working on it brother, that darn work thing keeps getting in the way. Have a 3000 mile trip this summer so will rack up the miles. I see about 10 grand for me this year which is a lot
@@BoDean52 You know I like it. I feel safe and it's comfortable as all get out. But it is heavy in a way my last two Road Glides were not. The weight off the fairing really helps in slow maneuvers. But so far so good gearing up to take a 4k mile trip here late summer so we'll put it to the test.
Great review, have a 2018 Ultra Limited Low in the silver & black. Have done long distance trips already including PEI & Cabot trail for 3 weeks and 3,500 miles. Use the Rickrack for the tour Pak works great! Enjoy
Hi Joey, I ended up getting a Mustang One Piece Touring seat. If you go in the description of any one of my videos and scroll down you can find it with a link that will show you the exact one. Hope that helps and reach out with any questions, ride safe
one thing i really like that maybe sounds dumb is how on the Batwing with my 12" bars: all of my gauges and mirrors are almost at eye level. i can see everything without looking down or hunting for it. with the RoadGlide i felt things were just a bit too far away from my aging eyes
Thanks brother and I’m considering looking at another seat that has been suggested by a couple viewers that will give me an even a few more inches. I’ll let you know how it goes
I never rode the classic but hear the ride is no different. Real difference I understand is the some stuff in the tour pack and heated grips. Thinking about getting one?
I have the harley davidson ultra limited 2018 was wondering if you have had any problems with the dash lights after 1500 miles all the gauges work just lights go out at a high speed and comes back on at low speed
I was traveling the other week between Quebec city and Montreal and saw like two Harley dealerships. It kind of surprised me based on what everybody was telling me with how short the summer was. Hope you’re doing well brother
I'm on a 2011 Road King now. I like it {Plus it's paid for} but, I eventually plan on upgrading to the bike you have. I love the Ultras. Like you...and it pains me to say that....with you being from the school up north....I'm not a fan of the Road Glide's either. They just don't seem to fit me well and I've test rode a couple of them and just really didn't see what the hype was all about. I hope in a couple years I'll be ready to pull the trigger on one. I'm really wanting to retire in a few years so we're trying to keep the extra spending to a minimum. Looking forward to that cold beer this summer over in Slippery Rock. Ride safe and Go Bucks....and hopefully Browns too....lol....
Cheers for your vid. I enjoyed it and I did like the personal touch to it. I'm sort of figuring out which one to get. Either a Limited or a Street Glide Special (with the option of a detachable tour pack). I just rented a Limited and loved it. As did my better half. The thing is I'm 6' 4,5" and I found it does not fit well for me. The saddle moves you towards the front of the bike which makes it difficult to break or shift gears. Am I correct that the Street Glide is a little better in that respect? (maybe because of a different saddle?). Also the height for a Street Glide is "only" 26.1 (as is for the Electra Glide Standard) but 27,5 for a Street Glide. I'd love to hear your opinion and experience.
Hi Martin, I have had both bikes and am 6"2. The SG does sit lower and stock I think does sit you back more. That said, I put a Mustang Seat on my Ultra and it sits me back almost two inches, it's perfect. I have a video on seats that may help you. Let me know if you have any other questions and good luck.ua-cam.com/video/qtAZ4sXGquk/v-deo.html

One thing I have found handy , and you would probably want to look at seeing as how you dedicate your tour pak to full face helmets , is the storage bag / suitcase that mounts on the tour pak rack. I found in my Ultra Classic is the lack of luggage capacity in the boxes, especially when camping on a month long trip.
You mean in your saddlebags Stephen? I’m not a camper so I could see how if you had a bunch of camping gear it could be a challenge.
