I was watching your videos again and laughing as I was house cleaning today. The Barangay videos especially. Lol 🤭😅 a few hours they were my background. 👍🏻
Hi Tom, enjoy watching you walking around and stopped by the fried chicken vendor. The local guys were so nice to feed you for free although bless your heart you paid. Tom, the Philippines is a beautiful country with caring, good people. Have a wonderful day with the Filipino locals always be respectful and be safe. May God bless, guide and protect you always. From Chicago USA
Thanks for the fascinating look at the streets of Cebu. The thing that amazes me the most is the net of wires overhead. It looks like spiderwebs and gives me a scary feeling. Loved it. Take care.
You're so comfortable there Tom, interacting with the Filipino people. You are a great example of how to be in the Philippines as a foreigner. Keep up the great videos sir!

So good street foods!!! It’s curious how that places is so similar to places in my country, the people and the streets in certain areas practically are the same 👍🏼😎🇵🇷
Nice raw video.... that last stall had some really good selections to eat 😋 those 2 Manila favorites are what I would be looking for if I wanted home cooking keep up the raw videos I will run it over and over with the ads for you Tom 👍
It seems youre having a good time Tom..I wish my English husband like you...but hes very fussy eater....I cant bring him in that kind of place...be safe x
Nice vlog tom...nice content,I feel hungry of that bulalo😋😅 next time do a mukbang video also, like eating diff types of Filipino dishes...more interesting as well God Bless keep safe 💕😇🙏
Thanks for the tour, enjoyed watching this. I have been to PH 5 times as my wife is from Cebu, would love to do a tour as you did. Mostly we go from the city to the province. Definitely need to get out more and enjoy all parts of Cebu!! I hope you and MJ are well, take care!!
Times like these I bet you miss Bangkok Street food Colon looks quiet too what I remember from 2017 it was allways so busy . Make sure too have eyes in the back of head especially after the sun goes down there. Interested too see more. There is a street market in mandaue I think it was near the city Hall some where . Not a tourist spot at all very interesting place I thought when I visited, also I bought some of the native cigarette "lom boy"
nice vid Tom, keep em coming. Also, unless it was the camera, your right hand did look shaky when eating the beef, hope you're in good health. Take care. 😊
The beef is a Bit chewy lol. Most people don't know to brown the meat before the put it in a broth or sauce. if they brown it no not cook it just brown it all around it will hold the juice and flavor and stay tender. I joke when I get tough meat or chewy by telling them hey this cow has had a lot of miles on it. I have had people ask me how do you get you're meat so tender I tell them I make sure the cow is young and lazy . Truth is I brown the meat and slow cook it.
good stuff Tom . I love the Philippine street food . The best Lechon I had was in Car Car city Cebu . yeah I didnt care for the beef in Phill either . Its not like the Angus burger we have in USA
Missing my City!! 😭😭😭😍😍 Can’t wait to be back next month after three longggg years! You should Try Chinese Ngohiong or Rico’s Lechon! Two of my favorites places to eat.. 🥺
Hey, Tom.That soup looked great. The bananas are too sweet for my taste. And you gotta love fried chicken. Do they all taste the same or are they using different spices and whatnot when they cook it? I love walking in the areas that locals go. It's more authentic than the touristy areas.
When I lived in Manila know novaliches about the kids same thing you have to be careful and I would tell you I would do the same walk as you did my wife taught me everything I felt safe there everything is cheap the only thing my wife would not buy off the street is chicken or pork she would go to SM market for that everything else off the street we are moving back to to the Philippines but in Duvall City in August I spelled that wrong LOL
"Tabo sa Banay" is not the name of the street. It literally translates to a Community Market near Colon Street. A program by the city government to give the ambulant vendors a place to sell food, goods, and crafts. It is one way to decongest the sidestreets with vendors and provide them with livelihood. It is also making the city dirty, chaotic and crowded.
Perfect place for your boojet Hogan. Banana! 11:40 Oh Hogan what happened to bananers. Don't change your dialect. It's what makes you Hogan. I'm gonna talk to MJ about this. Thanks for the tour. You are an Irish Harold Balder.
Banana Q is cheap there only 15 pesos and its huge here that kind of banana Q is already 25 pesos and the bulalo also cheap 40 pesos but im not really sure about the portion there but here its like 50~60 pesos already per order its also karenderya or in english eatery

With a little caution,,street food is the best. You're a good dude ,Tom,,you always banter with the locals,,and you show them respect! Not all Farang are like that,,,even among long time travelers,,some of them are pretentious dicks. Thanks,,Ttyl,,,Marlon
One tip, never compare your country to theirs or compare their food to others. That will make you liked by Filipinos and those same Filipinos will have your back when things get hard.
13:15 She told you what is in Bulalo, but not telling you what is in Soup No. 5 :D well, I understand, because I dont want to tell you either, but like you to try it also without saying anything :D haha
