- Got totally lost today in the province.! Riding around the mountains we come across loads of little villages where we got a $1 shave and were tricked into eating chicken butt haha.

Great upload Tom. I'm Australian married to a Filipina. Built a house on Luzon (Codillera region North actually Ifugao province. ) in the mountains 10 years ago so these recent uploads I can really relate to mate. Thank you. It brings back a lot of good memories.
Hogan I absolutely love this video. I’m still stuck here in the states for now. One of my last enjoyments here is to jump on the Harley and point it into destination unknown. Nothing better to visit mom and pop restaurants and stores. I envy that I’m not in the Philippines yet. Super great video and once again the video shows how friendly and laid back the people are. Where in the Philippines are the people not friendly. There should be a big billboard showing the smiling faces of the people from the different provinces.
The places in philippines where metal bars is recommended on your windows and where you have to watch out for pickpockets and kidnappers.

The barber and his wife were very nice, how they make a living on a 50 pesos shave I don't know, because they are not a busy shop by any stretch of the imagination. I take it you were eating the Parson's nose which is the tail end of the chicken where the spine ends and the tail feathers start-yum-not! You were the popular white man at the BBQ stand. Some of the scenery was breathtaking well worth getting lost up a mountain for! I love your natural videos nothing rehearsed or planned just what you see and do literally.
The problem with Westerners is that they're close minded people. They think that a person should do only one single job at a time to earn a living. Obviously, the barber shop isn't their only source of income. Otherwise, they have long died after a month of opening the shop with only a single client daily. They're in the mountains and they probably have farm. Most people in the mountains have farms.
