- 11’ Lamiglas Nightshift 1-6oz
2021 Shimano Stella SW14000XG
50# Power Pro super slick v2
60# Seagar Fluorocarbon leader
125# TA clip
90# Rosco barrel swivel (TA clip to leader connection)
4.25 oz Outcast Lures hybrid popper (wacky mackerel)
Love watching the strike, and then the rod bending, along with the Angler getting knocked off balance from all of the above. Awesome
Nice video. Would a 11’ 3/4 to 4 ounce rod be adequate there. Currently have a ODM DNA 11’ 3-8 for jigging and throwing heavier lures there but seems there are times when a lighter rod could come in handy.
Nice fish. What camera were you using?
Thanks! It was an iPhone 13 max pro
Nice catch! Great to see the big girls back swimming and producing.
Man that's a huge striped bass, I would love to take a trip & fish there
Very nice! Congratulations.
Ty
so amazing 💪
Wow that’s a big one!!
Great fish!!
Muy buen video amigo
Nice 👍🏾
Thanks
Why you didn’t show release the fish? Did you keeper?
damn how do you get stella sw 14000xg to come with power knob?
Stole it from my 4000 lol. It all honesty, the rubber egg knob feels better grip wise. I just like the appearance of the round black/gold knob.
Dude she almost pulled you in!
The canal strong current didn’t help neither lol
Beast
What lure were you using? It looks weird, shaped sort of like a tadpole!
Great Video:)
Release?
What rod was that?
11’ Lamiglas Nightshift 1-6 oz
What plug you are using thanks
4.25 hybrid popper, whacky mackerel, made by Outcast Lures.
Very good thanks tight lines
Awesome catch bro, for a $36 popper you deserve that! As a completer beginner what other lower $ poppers should I start with? Thx
@@openstenosis loaded Cordell is like $16 at Canal Bait & Tackle. Tsunami Talking Popper is also cheap.
👁👏un saumon 😍🐬🇫🇷
Gotta love that blow up!
Nice fish man. But don’t pull up on that rod so much. No need for it and you risk snapping the tip
Throw it back! Into my sink....
Smh c'mon man those are the fish we want out there reproducing
