Just as we cannot live on this planet without the light of the sun, our spirits cannot survive without the light of faith, hope and love. Where is that light to be found? The holy scriptures read: "...God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory displayed in the face of Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6). The Light of the world has come and his name is Jesus. May these songs lift your face to the Light.

This was our intercessory prayer this morning - "Lord, our hearts are calloused. Give us more empathy, compassion and love." Later, God put this song in my heart. I hadn't heard it for a long time and had to listen again. What a beautiful prayer it is! May God bless this song , so that it will touch people's hearts.

What a fitting song my lecturer chose to end our Community Psychology class, as we were steered towards the heart of God, the work of compassion! I wld like to use yr song in future, for encouragement of Christians towards advocacy or just mental health work. 😍
