I owned a 1972 Kawasaki H2. Bought it used in 1975 in original shape and low miles. Could I have kept up with you guys on the bikes of today? I am an experienced amateur rider and I was not afraid to open it up. I often wonder because I have lived on Palomar Mountain for the last 20+ years.
We are experience street riders that's been riding Palomar for many years. I started back in 2005 so it's been a while... I'm sure you can do well if your familiar with the road. I had a Honda 600XL keep up with me once and, I thought the guy was crazy. It comes down to knowing your motorcycle's limits and road. Ride Safe Alex O.
No way any car can keep up with us. We had too many try, and they all couldn't. This was an early morning (8:00AM or so) run up the hill. We can go a lot faster!

I don't work there but, I do know the owner. I can definitely get you a great deal on one. They are actually about the post there best deal on them soon on their website. For sure, I can flash the ECU for you so, you can go faster. Let me know when you're thinking about coming down? I'm about to pick up another one myself because, the last one is getting replaced.
You differently have to be very careful… I've been riding this road for almost 15 years, started back in 2006. Get a good bike, have a good mechanic, and look for good riders to learn from. You can do it! :)

Dang you guys are knees to the ground. Good riders. Always wanted to ride but bikes are too dangerous. Seen too many accidents for my likings.
