Awesome update...you have so many supervisors. Loved seeing Sasha with the drone, and the cows curiosity never gets old! It’s fun watching them watching you.
Lol ya I’m surprised you’re not stashing chocolate milk either! I love your channel. Jesus is king! You’re clearly blessed beyond the curse. God bless you and your family
Awesome vid bud. Keep up the great work on here and on the farm. Love the old skool tractor. Hard look... like your old man. And looks strong too... like your old man!! Stay safe champ and again thank you🤙🏼👍🏻👍🏻
It's great that you're doing no till and cover crops. Would like to hear more about how it's working out for you. Does it cut costs? Improve your soil and production? Thanks for all the great videos. I always wished I had grown up on a farm. This is the next best thing.
I know farming can be extremely tough work but watching your videos brings back great memories of being a kid on my Grandparents farm and at times makes we wish that my family had kept farming. Keep up the great work!
We recently discovered your videos on youtube via the tv. We live in WI! My family of 5 loves watching how your farm operates. The twins always ask to watch the cows 😁 thanks for all you do!!
Little Aeration gets needed oxygen into the soil and helps fertilizer to penetrate faster! I like breathing too‼️ Fantastic Video/ Editing/ Communication Skills‼️ Thank You and Whole Family including total operations‼️ Many Blessings ALL FARMERS‼️ AMERICAN HEROES‼️
Love all your videos Eric. I remember spreading manure with a double tanker in Canada. When the guy on the pump was filling the tanks, it used to overflow like that nearly every time. It was quite amusing
Noah, Other good farming channels: How Farms Work, Cole the Cornstar, Sonne Farms, Harmless Farmer, Millennial Farmer, Weller Farms Inc, and there are others. :)
Seems just like an industrial sized soil aerator which is essential for good soil health you HAVE to work your soil in some fashion to ensure your fertilizer/manure and water can get into it properly so when it’s time to plant you have a happy healthy crop :) well done!
You can run that machine over your alfalfa and you will notice a better yield. The seeding will last years longer. It will also split the crowns allowing the alfalfa to split off and produce more plants. We have been doing this for the last several years and it’s a game changer! You will want to slow down some to keep from throwing the dirt. Do a trial for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! We do it at least once per year but you can do it after every cutting if you wish.
" Dont know why my tractor just shut off." NOTE FROM CASE IH SERVICE DEPT: Dear Eric: After careful examination of your tractor, our chemical analysts are baffled. It seems the tank of your tractor was filled with a carbonated substance having the same chemical and base properties of Mountain Dew. Please by advised that we have drained the tank and refilled it with Pepsi. The tractor is now running at its factory peak performance, which we admit will never be as good as a John Deere. Thank you for your patronage and stop frightening Sasha with the drone.
@Wikkitt Klown you are absolutely right. Case is second to none. I've never seen them make it farther than 3rd on anybody's list. Lol. Just kidding brother. I'm a JD guy, but the neighbor likes his red ones too. They are all good as long as u take care of them and dont beat them to death
Hi Eric you are putting out another nice video well explained. The farm is looking good. How's the wife and baby? You have the best videos. When it comes to talking about framing . Thanks for sharing the video 👍🇺🇸
Drone footage was good but would like to see a few shots from much higher to get a better perspective of the overall area. Thanks and keep the milk flowing. ;-)
If you decide to go back to tillage go with a incicit McFarlane universal tillage tool or give one a try because you won't regret the decision to buy one because we have one and we love how it really gets that nice seed bed and smoothes out the field
No-till Means not tilling, till and tillage are the samething and it means to make holes in the farm land to areiate the area and make seeds grow better and yeild better
Tilling is avoided by no-till farmers because it destroys the microbial universe underground by exposing beneficial protozoa, fungi, and other forms of life to the killing effects of sunlight, wind, and heat, alongside causing erosion. On the other hand weed control is much more difficult
Yeah I get all your replies....... but when do you decide which option to go with? E.g. if cost is your goal does no-till supersede issues like compaction, weed control, or is Eric doing it because of the risk of erosion, lack of soil organic matter, climate and weather conditions later on in the year or because of traditional farming methods. Where I’m from all corn ground is ploughed for drainage and so that the weather breaks up soil leaving very little tillage needed for planting.
Eric, tilling IS fun, when done with a tractor. Sixty years ago, I was doing what you did as a young man. Altho we used moldboard plows in Ohio then, not chisels or rippers. Yesterday I mounted the power tiller on my Kubota and today I will go out and till my sweet corn field. All 500 square feet of it. A hoe would be more practical, but much less fun!
Another great video. I like your voiceovers rather than the music over droan footage. You should do a Q & A some time... maybe with your wife. She likely has lots of stuff she could add about you... ha ha
I've never seen a tillage machine like that before! Very cool
Most dedicated young farmer out there.
Sasha and your Dad are best mates. Great video again
Thanks for the video Eric
Great videos, love how you explain and show how everything works and straight to the point. Helping me pass the time greatly
takes me back to my child hood days on the farm quality vids as usual!
Great vid as always, Erick.
Ready for another one. Come on, bro!
Greats from Massachusetts!!!
When I first get on my computer snd open UA-cam I always check for your vids first. I like your no nonsense style!

Great video as always. Good information for farmers and non-farmers as well. Thank you for the nice drone footage. Best!
I wish one day, I could be part of all this. Its amazing to watch
Lol ya I’m surprised you’re not stashing chocolate milk either! I love your channel. Jesus is king! You’re clearly blessed beyond the curse. God bless you and your family

You are my favorite farmer
I cant wait to see the footage with the new drone. 👍

Great video and drone footage thanks for the great work!!
I very well might have built that unit. I used to work at Gen-till in Hope, Indiana. Glad to see it at work.
Sounds like you're renting it. Any idea what year it was manufactured? I'm just curious if I built it.
Fabulous equipment, great job.
The 3 axle slurry tanker looks cool 👍👍
We recently discovered your videos on youtube via the tv. We live in WI! My family of 5 loves watching how your farm operates. The twins always ask to watch the cows 😁 thanks for all you do!!
I love the old tractor you use once in a while. It just seems tough. Good to see it still kicking!
Yes!! I too have say the old tractor I like as well.
Looks hard!!💪🏼💪🏼
.....AND, I don't know why my tractor just shut off!!! Lol sorry, when you said it, it was hilarious! Great video as always. I love your work ethic!!
Yeah he looked kinda worried lol
I literally read the comment when he said it
I like how your farm is self sufficient. You feed your cows whatever you plant and their manure is fertilizer
Little Aeration gets needed oxygen into the soil and helps fertilizer to penetrate faster!
I like breathing too‼️

That aerator does a great job!! I bet it does pull pretty hard? Good to see Sasha keeping. A eye on everything! Thanks for the video! ✅

The addition of the drone footage is great.
I was just about to wonder how you knew the spreader was full when you showed just how. 🤣
Just as I thought to myself, how do you know when it's full, it overflowed. Great laugh!
Yeah Sasha !! What a good dog keeping an eye on the home front!!! 🌞😊
Love your vids is best thing to watch during quarantine

It tested negative for Mt Dew, it was actually Choco Milk.😉

Can you explain no-till, min- till and tillage, and why farmers choose one over another? would make a great video
No-till Means not tilling, till and tillage are the samething and it means to make holes in the farm land to areiate the area and make seeds grow better and yeild better
Ask 100 farmers get 100 answers

That was a very safe expletive, “Whoops!” Hopefully there were no rabbits in the field to fall victim to that tilling machine.
First!!! I love you videos!!!

The vid was 🔥🔥
I like your video's mate! Keep it up! :)
