Thanks. I'm here at Jpark at the moment, they have been having some great promos of late as well, you may want to check out. Mon- Thurs its pretty quiet and that's when they have their deals - see their Facebook pages. Hopefully you can find someone you really love as there are lots of deals going around at the moment. Enjoy your treat and congrats! Cheers.
Dunno if anyone gives a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch all the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend lately xD
Thanks. I havn't been since the typhoon but they were having this trade show at Ayala and they said they were operating as normal, they didn't get too much damage. Crimson Resort is closed till April, their villas got hit bad and they are currenly fixing them. Also the Shangri-la is opening 1 March. Their seafood restaurant got damaged and their front rooms (panaramic rooms) are under repair.
They're at the edge of the beach (running parallel) and they run back towards the resort. So some will be closer to the beach than others. Their bungalows are right on the beach.
I was there in 2013 and I have wanted to go back a few times after but was always fully booked. Last March I stayed at the Pacific Cebu resort nearby not as nice but not too bad none the less.
I went this year, more than 6 months after the storm, the staff was very friendly and helpful, i enjoyed the bar/restaurant that juts at the sea, i loved their cocktails lol, i enjoyed the pool, the sand is fine but a bit cakey 20m towards the depth, it is not that deep, i understand that some of the room was still not fixed cos of the storm but it didnt bother me in the least, would I go again, yes, the food i also enjoyed!
I'm going to check it out again next month. Glad you enjoyed. All the resorts on Mactan have imported sand so the deeper you go into the ocean it's just reverting back to what is really is like. A great place to stay in Mactan.
Based on your review, we visited this place few days ago. Staff are friendly and servic. As you mentioned, the beaches in Mactan are man made so don’t expect too much. By the way, I hope they take better care of their rescued dog inside the parking lot compound. One of its leg is broken in an abnormal angle. It is placed inside a cage. One bowl was full of spoiled foods and maggots. The other bowl contained big bones of fish and leftover foods or bones not really fit for consumption.
I went back there a few months ago. I did notice the beach front sand had errorded a bit from the typhoon. They did say they were going to add more sand but they weren't able to provide a time table for when it was happening. I hate seeing dogs in cages ☹️
DOG UPDATE: Since I’m not from Cebu, I requested a friend to check on the dog. Someone volunteered to visit and take a look as well as to donate some vitamins/medications for the earmites. The spoiled food has been replaced and the cage cleaned and they promised to take better care of the dog.
I remember there was some white foam on the beach due to stagnation as the seawater was somewhat prevented from flowing because of the sandbar, I know there's still an opening to the sea, but the sandbar kind of cut the full flow of the tide...was it still the same when you went there?
Hi! Thanks for your videos very helpful as an expat in Ph. I went to bohol, now I'm planning for a weekend getaway in Cebu what would be the best hotels you'd recommend? And are there still possibilities to go into cebu city or we have to stay in mactan? Thanks 🙏🏼
Welcome. Im not sure of all the protocols from coming from another island. Im sure there's info online. I have been into the city without issue. Best hotels are like raddison blu, bai (in mandaue) is good, i like the henry. I was at the raddison a few months ago it was running on a limited basis. Im pretty sure all hotels will be like that, just to keep that in mind. Mactan has some nice upmarket resorts offering fantastic promos. Have a look on their relevant facebook pages.
Are you still in the Philippines? Does the Philippines have a city like Hua Hin? Middle size town with a long white beach. Borocay and Dumaguete don't fit in. Thank you and good luck to you.🍀😊 Greetings from Germany👋🇩🇪😊
I haven't been to Hau Hin for over 20 years so I can't remember much and I'm sure it's nothing like what it was then anyhow. All I can think of maybe is Bohol? Dumaluan Beach it's a little out of town though. I did a video a resort there which you can see the beach there. I did some info on getting from there to the main tourist area. This is Bohol Beach Club ua-cam.com/video/yfbL2QFyMJc/v-deo.html but the far better resort is South Palms ua-cam.com/video/EAB6peoDZhM/v-deo.html

Let's hope the country opens soon!
hi how’s the beach you said it depends on the weather . was it sandy or rocky?
It's a man made beach so the sand has been brought in. It is sandy at the beginning but not that far out you will come to the rocks.
I was there in 2018, planning to return there again!
It's a great place to stay!
Hello Ron, is Maribago beach good, pool and beach or below standard?
The pools are ok, the beach is fairly ordinary.
I was there in 2006, good to see it again, I got hurt by a Tuyon, lol....
Yeah it's a nice place to stay at in Mactan Island.
I was wondering, is it premiere deluxe room you said you like the best is that on the beach? Or a garden area.
They're at the edge of the beach (running parallel) and they run back towards the resort. So some will be closer to the beach than others. Their bungalows are right on the beach.

Yes I actually stayed at Pacific Cebu not long ago. I agree with you. I will be doing a video on that resort too in the near future.
Been there again,2008 pataas,

Hi Randee. Was the bar open every day? We are staying at the resort this June
@@AlgyraBarreca I was there a couple of weeks ago. The beach bar is open daily.

Glad to hear that and thanks for update! Hopefully they will continue to do that! Take care.
How much is the single room accomodation
I did put the rates in the video but you can check their website directly bluewater.com.ph/
Can you smoke on the balcony or is it a mile walk to go for a cigarette? cheers.
No there's a dedicated smoking area behind the beach bar.

When i was there I didnt see any. I did mostly have good weather though.
