Government partners with faith-based organizations for poverty eradication in greater Mukono.

The government, through the Microfinance Support Centre, has launched a new program aimed at engaging faith-based organizations in wealth creation initiatives to eradicate poverty at the household level in both rural and urban areas.
In a stakeholder engagement meeting organized by the Microfinance Support Centre at Kampala Nile Resort, the Minister of State for Microfinance, Haruna Kasolo, highlighted the role of religious institutions in poverty alleviation. He emphasized that their well-structured networks make them ideal partners in this initiative.
