  • For Geno Auriemma, success stems from having players who love being coached, and as the UConn Huskies work towards yet another undefeated season, it seems that this group has just what he's looking for.

Geno is a total class act and his players respect him! I am not into women's basketball but what he and the team have accomplished is incredible. Geno is a fantastic coach.

Sensational coach. The only women’s team I follow because they are nearly perfect every night and expect to be undefeated. Very rare indeed

He is inspiring. When a team accepts their roll and how good they can be awesome.

Very true...BTW it is "role". OK, so I'm a perfectionist... kinda like Geno ;)

Good Lord thank God for the skill set of all of UCONN WOMEN BASKETBALL TEAM MEMBERS. ESPECIALLY GABBY WILLUAMS WHO WILL DUNK DURING THE FINAL FOUR CHAMPIANSHIP GAME. HER SKILL LEVEL WILL BRING HOME THE CHAMPIONS.

The John Wooden of ladies collegiate basketball. His teams are so successful because they forfeit individualism for the total team, which yields championships. Many of his former and current players would rack up the stats on many other teams, but would not have an NCAA championship. Look at how many UCONN players are in the WNBA. i think UCONN has more players in the WNBA than any other division 1 college. Geno the Great!

Geno is better than Saban. Better than Belichick. Guy has won more than anyone and is STILL under-rated.

One day, Geno Auriemma will no longer be the coach of UConn. That will be a very sad day for women's basketball.

After hearing Gino's comments about CC, I would be taking my daughter out of UConn and getting her to play anywhere else

You better hope so because I know that Texas will go to the final four and if Texas on that side Uconn will worry about Texas. Texas is playing alot better the last time they met.

Uconn are going to probably get to 200 wins in row. easily. texas has 0 chance for the next 4 yrs. But hey there's always the men's for hope. goodluck.

Odds would highly favor someone else taking Texas out of the tourney before they would ever get a rematch with UCONN. So forget that idea.

77-66, Stanford over Texas. Texas is irrelevant for the rest of the tournament.

When? How? Just watched the horrible team from tennessee beat you guys today. You LOST to tennessee! A team of mostly freshmen coached by the most inept coach to ever wave a clipboard around. Play all the cupcakes you want and inflate your little egos in true texas big hat no cattle style - in the end you still have to put up and that's when reality runs up the score on you.
