    Coach, why send him inside the restrictive area where he is more likely to draw the blocking call in a bang bang play?

      Douglas Reid This was before there was a restricted area in college basketball

      If he gets up too high in the lane it makes for an easy pass and layup. The rule is not to give up a layup, it is not to draw a charge.
