The only case to block with kesage pointing downwards if it's already in that position. Otherwise you don't rotate the katana. Frome seigan position you simple block without turning the katana 😂. It looks cool though. But too slow and weaker position as your hands are twisted. The one hand block is also weaker then an incoming 2 handed cut, don't try it as it can collapse. With speed and power a cut can be very strong. Best is to perry. Block is last resort when you were too slow to react....
