If you're not going to do stages or pit, I would suggest changing the settings to a narrow skill range for the AI. It will keep the cars closer and be more fun for you racing, with less time running by yourself on track

A quick tid bit for Kansas. The high line up near the wall is the fastest way around. Continue to work on getting closer and closer to the wall and you’ll win races in no time
I think a tad longer of a race would be really fun. Having crashes and cautions is fun to watch,

Trev they added some new livery’s and Darrell Wallace Jr has a alternate now, if you go to the last tab in the career menu you can edit your car,but you can’t actually edit the car but they have a button to switch livery’s, the other livery is Sunoco and I would like to see it on the track. Edit: if you switch the livery and go back to the career menu it won’t show the livery that you put on, but once you get in the race you’ll see it on the car
Also you should go to setting and make the races longer to either 13% or 25% and turn on stage racing like so he can see

@TmarTn2 If you want to hit some better times you need to adjust your wedge and tire pressure for each tracks unique pattern
Stay in line in the draft. Even if you have to follow/push someone for a couple laps.. Draft always makes you faster

Tip for the next race at Kansas for NH5:
The preferred line of choice is right up top against the wall.
do bristol at 25% length. since it’s a longer race all the constant turns will make it more competitive and entertaining. daytona is just going 200mph is circles
trev, you should really try to use custom setups., there are plenty of websites that have some amazing set ups that will allow you to run the fastest car you can!

A tip when you run a tight setup you burn up your right front tire but if you run a loose setup you burn up your right rear tire

Hey Trev, if you press A on the wheel, you can see your lap time and who’s in front of you.
You should be pushing more. Stay behind a car and bump him up through the no mans land before passing so you can get with the pack.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this about pit stops but if you run the full race....the other cars will pit like a normal race so unless you can commit to running 150 laps just keep everything off..

Nascar wrecks are soo exciting and fun to watch
Staying lower in the turns allows you to accelerate harder OUT of the turn- you also have more room to drift up to the outside wall as you're accelerating.

Trev, try your best to keep that car planted on the bottom without slipping up the track. Also, your best bet isn’t to alway try to pass people immediately, push them towards the pack. Helping them catch their draft, helping you in the long run. But I love this series and F1 so much.
Backseat Driving here...haha...Instead of catching a draft and passing then not having a car to draft off of. You are all alone then. Catch the Draft and stay behind him ....pushing the car in front until you have another car to jump too.

I have never played this game, but I THINK that some of your tire wear issues stem from your strategy. Often times you take a high line in exchange for less breaking and more gas. If the tire wear is realistic, you are hurting your tires more through the turns while accelerating. Thats why the suggested line often runs a bit slower. The suggested line likely helps reduce tire wear, another reason the AI isn't pitting as soon

If you change the fuel multiplyer to where they run out of fuel faster, you can make the other cars pit for fuel

You should do a split screen with Chels
And focus more on drafting and you’ll do so much better have people draft behind you because it gives you a push you almost want to stay behind somebody or somebody stay behind you then make the right moves when there needed
