i've ordered from uwowo before and the items have been fine (i mean, uwowo's costumes are great, accessories are very sub-par), but i only ordered one costume with each order. this is so disappointing from uwowo and has left a bad impression for me - not sure i'll shop with them again... i'm so frustrated for you!

Sadly it says on presale items not to mix them or you'd have to wait, unless they added that recently, my friend usually just buys her in stocks first then her presales so that in stock will ship to her. And she won't have to worry about them selling out and delaying her package even longer.

I thought we'd only have to wait for the items to be made and they would put aside our instock orders. But they don't. The last part sounds like what theyre getting at is: The post office brought in their next stock of shoes(ironic how you paid extra and they magically came in)and because you paid extra, they sent you one of the first pairs of the fresh stock. In the future, they will not divide orders if it is unwanted, but they cannot guarantee that all order items that were available will still be available when pre-stock comes back in.
I''ve ordered 3 cosplays from them. I'm a guy and I like the male cosplays and let me just say, I can sense a huge bias against men cosplay costumes compared to the women ones. I am fine with a bias, there are simply just more women cosplays than males, sure but there should be a fair balance between both. First cosplay I ordered was Ayato, ordered on april, scheduled to be delivered back in June, didnt ship until October, almost 5 months. Diluc I ordered, the biggest size they had, didnt fit me at all due to shrinkage but the measurements were accurate to my body proportions but I simply say this: they're a lie. Ordered Zhongli, zipper for the coat broke (easy fix) but was nice quality and not too bad. Then ayato comes and mother of god, the belt ornament for the waist was too small, the undercoat was too small. They expect the body to be simply lanky asian built men. Im a mutli cultural bloke with broad shoulders and while I do have a bit of a stomach (nothing morbidly obese), there armholes are very disappointing and not enough to move around in the coat. The quality is not bad on the outfits, they are comfortable to wear but dont expect them to have good accessories. There were many instances they could've used Contact adhesive which is very sticky and barely comes off, I clearly know why they didnt use it, cheaper to use hot glue. the stitching was shit and was loose. The rope even was threaded very badly. looks fine on the outside but was cheaply used on the inside and they charged me almost 300 dollars plus shipping for the entire thing. These things can be fixed fortunately but doesnt excuse the fact a lot of the prop quality is shit.
I had the same problem with the Ayaka and Beidou costume which both should be released in november, Beidou came out earlier than Ayaka and now I have to wait until feb/mar until I'll receive the order because Beidou was send to another customer like your shoes 💀 I just wanted to scream at this moment
I too had a problem with their customer service, I had bought a Eula pre sale item and when I received it the package came torn up and the cape had tears and dirt.when I had sent them a message with pictures they refused to refund me and only offered me 15$refund ,even though I had paid 100$+ for the cosplay
One thing I’ve learned ordering lots of stuff from China: Chinese companies customer service is HORRENDOUS. I usually buy cosplay stuff from tmall and it’s completely normal to just send a completely wrong item and refuse to accept a return or refund you. They don’t have a “customer is always right” mentality. And sadly they actually don’t care about overseas customers much as most of money they make comes from customers in China :( Hence why even their sizing is catering to Asian standards. So sorry this happened to you! 😢
Something similar happened to me with the KDA cosplays except that on their page it said that they had stock... After 2 months they told me that they were out of stock and that they were in production... 2 months later they told me that they already they wouldn't do them anymore, but they didn't deign to tell me anything until I insisted through the mail. Their quality of suits is very good but their customer service is lousy
So they just refunded you? But yeah.. i know its a pain to message everyone for updates but when its something as important as that the company HAS to do it. Not just wait for the client to get impatient and email them first!
If i ever buy from them again which will probably never happen after this, ill just do anything i can to make them get a bad reputation from rage i got at your situation :3

Yeaaah the last reply I honestly couldn't hold my tears anymore lol. I tried to make the video a little bit funny but I was so frustrated during the whole process. They made me feel like garbage and that is just not the way to treat your customers! I also agree that I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have sent out the rest of my order the next day. Something similar happened to me and my friends, however they really weren't rude, so I'm a little confused as to why they treated you this way Basically we did a group order of the kda all out costumes (which were in a bundle for black Friday)and since we had reached free shipping I thought to add another cosplay for my bf(Tanjirou) with shoes (both of which were in stock, while the kda ones were all 4 in pre-order) Around end January they told me that the Tanjirou cosplay wasn't in stock until march, and that if I wanted the in stock items first they could send them before but I would have to pay extra shipping, then I replied like you, that I thought it was reserved for me and was just waiting for the presales and it wasn't fair to have to pay extra shipping etc etc Later they said that one of the kda costumes was also not ready until end Feb and that if I waited to have them shipped together they couldn't guarantee the others would stay in stock As for the Tanjirou cosplay they said they could ship it later by epacket for free So I just said to ship the in stock items first and if they could bundle up the other two by epacket for free, and so they did. So anyway in the end everything was resolved without any extra fees >
Wow! You were in a way lucky! It still sucks that you encountered the same problem. The main reason of my video is so that people know of this problem the "not reserving" etc. You still had to wait sooo much longer for your order :/ And since they were rude and pretty much made me pay for the extra shipping for nothing... I figured I should expose them. They frustrated me so much and made me feel like a complete idiot. I know I was 100% in the right here. But they still were very unprofessional to me.

I know translations can be hard but you would think for a company you should maybe hire someone specifically for customer service that will do a good job translating and not adding little heart emojis or sad face emojis. I 100% agree, they should really invest in at least an english translator... my first language is french but I can still manage to communicate with them with my 2nd language so I feel like english would help them a lot! Nah, I bought 1 cosplay for yae miko well in advance for a comic con and had it constantly delayed, so I messaged them asking if it would make it here in time and they never gave me an answer for this question. Instead I'm pretty sure I got moved to the next production line. Customer service is slow and bad and I still havnt received anything, so I've just decided to go as an inflatable a t-rex for it, I've given up.

I wish I had seen this video before I ordered. The exact same thing happened to me when I mixed Pre-sale and in stock items thinking it was going to be okay because the Pre-sale item was coming in stock within 2 weeks (during which time my in stock item when out of stock and cue an endless cycle). Technically nowadays it is stated on their faq that they don’t reserve your order but I had kind of assumed when I ordered and I was too excited to read the faq which is on me but still it was frustrating to sort out because I did have a deadline for when I wanted the cosplays to arrive so I ended up having to change a size for one of my cosplays so that my order could ship and stop the cycle. Just yeah in the future for me or anyone reading don’t mix Pre-sale and in stock items because things go out of stock pretty easily and they don’t reserve your order.

I bought their draculaura in Asian XXL because of how tiny the chart was,received a random size with the XXL drawn on with an edding,not accurate to the chart at all :( they only wanted to refund me 5$
i ordered a presale kokomi cosplay from them back in february and they pushed back the batch shipment date to april without notifying anyone. it’s now april 21st so i messaged them asking for an estimate as to when the batch would be ready (i literally asked “is it looking like it won’t be until may?”) and all they replied with was “hi, if there is a delay we will update on the product page, pls check it out”. i went to look and the listing now says delayed until early may, any further delays will be notified which i highly doubt considering it’s been 2 months of radio silence from them qwq normally i’d say whatever, there *is* a pandemic, but while kokomi’s cosplay has had two delays they’ve pushed out other cosplays that were also for presale…it’s so suspicious ahahdjskfk i may just cancel the order now after watching this. it might arrive too late anyways momocon is on may 26th
Sadly this happens with not only them :/ I feel like chinese cosplay shops such as Uwowo, Dokidoki have problems with organizing everything and communication is not their strong suit. And theres also the language barrier. The same thing happened with me but with Dokidoki. Both Fischl and Ningguang got pushed back multiple time. And never got a notice etc. Inhad to check myself of the product page. There was one time tho that Dokidoki did message me because there was a batch with errors on Ningguangs cosplay so they had to wait for a new batch. But yeah I never trust when they say "product will ship out X month" They can't manage their orders properly it seems 😬
I bought an Rosaria maid costume from them and it was legit missing a sleeve they didn't even sew it on it just wasn't there I send them a dm (I bought it from their store on AliExpress) and they told me to send them a picture I did I send multiple pictures showing that it was missing and they just played dumb and kept saying "what's the problem dear?" and "can you describe what's wrong dear?" I got irritated and just let it be I have traded it with someone now (they know it's missing and they are fine with it) but for a way less expensive cosplay I am so disappointed
they really have the worst customer service. I encourage you to put a review on their website with the pictures on the rosaria costume. They might not show it tho. (they've not published my Xiangling review and ive tried to do it twice.) but anyways just shows how shitty they really are.
i ordered maid ganyu and maid mona. ganyu shipped first. i was told mona was going to ship first. this was in january. still to this day, i have not even recieved mona. when confronting them “why did you guys ship it to someone else when you said you were giving it to me” they just say “Dear, the mona is still pre sale, we ship in the order of the payment time.” ????? literally does not explain anything

I'm currently waiting for my beidou cosplay and it just says "error". It was also a pre-sale item. And when you're tracking my order it says "The parcel is stored in the final parcel center. It could not be delivered as the consignee refused acceptance." Seriously? They really gave my order to a random person? How unfortunate. I was going to order from them since they offer some bigger sizes and because of my bust size I can't buy a lot of cosplays from places like doki doki cos (which I’d prefer). All I can hope is that they may have changed in the two years since this was posted 😅

And unfortunately the only Doki Doki one I've seen with XXXL size is their Yelan SR. I was planning on ordering Uwowo's Event Skin Fischl but now because of this video I'm not sure about ordering anything from them at all.
When I first bought uwowo cosplay i was very amazed by them but later on, i start to notice how their quality isnt that great. The company CANT sew buttons LOL they will all eventually fall off. they use a lot of hot glue so those fall off also. The only reason i would think of buying from uwowo again is cuz of the big sizes. Otherwise I would look else where. For the quality and cost is kinda okish, not the best and not the worst.
Yeaaah that and sometimes the edges arent finished, like you said everything is hot glue and they always use cheap pins to attach things to the costume but then that only damages the fabric.. :( but thats most of cosplay companies sadly. They have to make everything quick so they have to limit the quality

I always check online if other people have that costume first before making my choice on where to buy it :) sometimes buying online can be a risk because the costume can be completely different than the one on the website. (It happened to me before). If you want to buy from Uwowo and its just one costume it "should" be fine. But you can just read through the comments here and see what kind of problems other people had! I just also think they didnt treat me well so just for that I don't want to give them anymore of my money. There is also Dokidoki cosplay that sells a lot of Genshin Impact costume (if you buy from them instead, please mention me in your order! It could help me get some sponsorships!) but the thing with Dokidoki is they rarely respect the delais. And dont really contact the customers either if there are delais! So if youre patient you can go through them instead!

oh no! i ordered navia cosplay with her wig and shoes before seeing this video :O so i'm thinking about what they said in their email that when they have storage issues, are they suggesting that they have specific vendors for specific times? actually, scratch that. trying to explain would only complicate more i don't know what "storage issue" is. i see that they don't have organization on their own warehouse. no computer or anything to keep track when an item has been made, they would put it to someone who is still waiting the longest time priorities, uwowo. priorities. it's not that hard

Yeaaah the last reply I honestly couldn't hold my tears anymore lol. I tried to make the video a little bit funny but I was so frustrated during the whole process. They made me feel like garbage and that is just not the way to treat your customers! I also agree that I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have sent out the rest of my order the next day. There's something really sketchy that happened there but I just can't put the finger on it!
Something similar happened to me and my friends, however they really weren't rude, so I'm a little confused as to why they treated you this way
Basically we did a group order of the kda all out costumes (which were in a bundle for black Friday)and since we had reached free shipping I thought to add another cosplay for my bf(Tanjirou) with shoes (both of which were in stock, while the kda ones were all 4 in pre-order)
Around end January they told me that the Tanjirou cosplay wasn't in stock until march, and that if I wanted the in stock items first they could send them before but I would have to pay extra shipping, then I replied like you, that I thought it was reserved for me and was just waiting for the presales and it wasn't fair to have to pay extra shipping etc etc
Later they said that one of the kda costumes was also not ready until end Feb and that if I waited to have them shipped together they couldn't guarantee the others would stay in stock
As for the Tanjirou cosplay they said they could ship it later by epacket for free
So I just said to ship the in stock items first and if they could bundle up the other two by epacket for free, and so they did. So anyway in the end everything was resolved without any extra fees >
Wow! You were in a way lucky! It still sucks that you encountered the same problem. The main reason of my video is so that people know of this problem the "not reserving" etc. You still had to wait sooo much longer for your order :/ And since they were rude and pretty much made me pay for the extra shipping for nothing... I figured I should expose them. They frustrated me so much and made me feel like a complete idiot. I know I was 100% in the right here. But they still were very unprofessional to me.

Their customer service is very immature by adding in all those emojis and seems like it was written by a toddler. I know translations can be hard but you would think for a company you should maybe hire someone specifically for customer service that will do a good job translating and not adding little heart emojis or sad face emojis. I won't ever bring my business to them. I'm sure buying one cosplay from them is fine but what if I have to return something? I'm sure that'd a scary process
I 100% agree, they should really invest in at least an english translator... my first language is french but I can still manage to communicate with them with my 2nd language so I feel like english would help them a lot! Not just them lol, every chinese cosplay shop would benefit this! I also think it was really childish and disrespectful.. Nah, I bought 1 cosplay for yae miko well in advance for a comic con and had it constantly delayed, so I messaged them asking if it would make it here in time and they never gave me an answer for this question. Instead I'm pretty sure I got moved to the next production line.
Customer service is slow and bad and I still havnt received anything, so I've just decided to go as an inflatable a t-rex for it, I've given up.

I wish I had seen this video before I ordered. The exact same thing happened to me when I mixed Pre-sale and in stock items thinking it was going to be okay because the Pre-sale item was coming in stock within 2 weeks (during which time my in stock item when out of stock and cue an endless cycle). Technically nowadays it is stated on their faq that they don’t reserve your order but I had kind of assumed when I ordered and I was too excited to read the faq which is on me but still it was frustrating to sort out because I did have a deadline for when I wanted the cosplays to arrive so I ended up having to change a size for one of my cosplays so that my order could ship and stop the cycle. Just yeah in the future for me or anyone reading don’t mix Pre-sale and in stock items because things go out of stock pretty easily and they don’t reserve your order.

i ordered a presale kokomi cosplay from them back in february and they pushed back the batch shipment date to april without notifying anyone. it’s now april 21st so i messaged them asking for an estimate as to when the batch would be ready (i literally asked “is it looking like it won’t be until may?”) and all they replied with was “hi, if there is a delay we will update on the product page, pls check it out”. i went to look and the listing now says delayed until early may, any further delays will be notified which i highly doubt considering it’s been 2 months of radio silence from them qwq normally i’d say whatever, there *is* a pandemic, but while kokomi’s cosplay has had two delays they’ve pushed out other cosplays that were also for presale…it’s so suspicious ahahdjskfk i may just cancel the order now after watching this. it might arrive too late anyways momocon is on may 26th
Sadly this happens with not only them :/ I feel like chinese cosplay shops such as Uwowo, Dokidoki have problems with organizing everything and communication is not their strong suit. And theres also the language barrier. The same thing happened with me but with Dokidoki. Both Fischl and Ningguang got pushed back multiple time. And never got a notice etc. Inhad to check myself of the product page. There was one time tho that Dokidoki did message me because there was a batch with errors on Ningguangs cosplay so they had to wait for a new batch. But yeah I never trust when they say "product will ship out X month"

I bought an Rosaria maid costume from them and it was legit missing a sleeve they didn't even sew it on it just wasn't there I send them a dm (I bought it from their store on AliExpress) and they told me to send them a picture I did I send multiple pictures showing that it was missing and they just played dumb and kept saying "what's the problem dear?" and "can you describe what's wrong dear?" I got irritated and just let it be I have traded it with someone now (they know it's missing and they are fine with it) but for a way less expensive cosplay I am so disappointed
they really have the worst customer service. I encourage you to put a review on their website with the pictures on the rosaria costume. They might not show it tho. (they've not published my Xiangling review and ive tried to do it twice.) but anyways just shows how shitty they really are.
i ordered maid ganyu and maid mona. ganyu shipped first. i was told mona was going to ship first. this was in january. still to this day, i have not even recieved mona. when confronting them “why did you guys ship it to someone else when you said you were giving it to me” they just say “Dear, the mona is still pre sale, we ship in the order of the payment time.” ????? literally does not explain anything
I'm surprised to this day they still don't have a proper english translator to be honest. I also had a lot of struggle trying to understand their messages. Hopefully you'll get yours soon~ I saw Maid Mona from my friend and it was very pretty

I'm currently waiting for my beidou cosplay and it just says "error". It was also a pre-sale item. And when you're tracking my order it says "The parcel is stored in the final parcel center. It could not be delivered as the consignee refused acceptance." Seriously? They really gave my order to a random person? I don't really know what's going on and I'm kinda stressed bc I need that cosplay in 2 weeks..

How unfortunate. I was going to order from them since they offer some bigger sizes and because of my bust size I can't buy a lot of cosplays from places like doki doki cos (which I’d prefer). All I can hope is that they may have changed in the two years since this was posted 😅

And unfortunately the only Doki Doki one I've seen with XXXL size is their Yelan SR. When I first bought uwowo cosplay i was very amazed by them but later on, i start to notice how their quality isnt that great. The company CANT sew buttons LOL they will all eventually fall off. they use a lot of hot glue so those fall off also. The only reason i would think of buying from uwowo again is cuz of the big sizes. Otherwise I would look else where. For the quality and cost is kinda okish, not the best and not the worst.
Yeaaah that and sometimes the edges arent finished, like you said everything is hot glue and they always use cheap pins to attach things to the costume but then that only damages the fabric.. :( but thats most of cosplay companies sadly. They have to make everything quick so they have to limit the quality

Hello! I always check online if other people have that costume first before making my choice on where to buy it :) sometimes buying online can be a risk because the costume can be completely different than the one on the website. (It happened to me before). If you want to buy from Uwowo and its just one costume it "should" be fine. But you can just read through the comments here and see what kind of problems other people had! I just also think they didnt treat me well so just for that I don't want to give them anymore of my money. There is also Dokidoki cosplay that sells a lot of Genshin Impact costume (if you buy from them instead, please mention me in your order! It could help me get some sponsorships!) but the thing with Dokidoki is they rarely respect the delais. And dont really contact the customers either if there are delais! So if youre patient you can go through them instead!

i don't know what "storage issue" is. i see that they don't have organization on their own warehouse. no computer or anything to keep track when an item has been made, they would put it to someone who is still waiting the longest time
