Think about a winch type system for lifting groceries, etc to 2nd floor. Saved my family so much up and down with bulky and heavy loads.

Hi, I live up in North Pole, East of Fairbanks. I am a senior and have to say you two were brave to take on this classic old homestead with no many junk cars. I hope you can eventually move them out. The house looks like it has real potential. I think the first equipment that could really help out would be buying a medium size farm tractor with loader bucket and forks. Best wishes as you move forward. Dave

    Hello from Hamburg in Germany,
I'm a little jealous of you for this great place in Alaska.
When everything is tidied up, it's a dream to live there in the middle of nature.
I would even enjoy cleaning up and getting things ready...
Germany is also a beautiful country, but my dream was always to live in Alaska.
You do a great job and I enjoy watching your videos.
    Best wishes from Hamburg...

I don't mind hearing the voiceovers because it's really great to see the activity that you're doing, whether it's in pictures or in the live action. I think the best part is showing that you're cleaning up your acreage and going to make something great of it. I'll look forward to see what happens next. Thanks for showing us your new property!

Alaska is hard on mechanical things. My parents have a similar metal graveyard of dead cars that died in Idaho. When my parents passed away, my sister tried to give them away much like you are doing, however, they all seemed to want to charge her for their removal. So.. they still sit there. I am so happy to see that not everyone thinks they need to charge. Wiley will come in handy in fixing the ruts left by the gentleman with his foot glued to the floor trying to pull out that truck. Good luck on your endeavors! It already looks amazing.

You can sell the junker vehicles and drums to scrap metal recycle facility.
I hope more people will come to haul off vehicles for parts. This will be a really beautiful place once you get it all fixed up. It's fun and satisfying to see the changes as you clean up this area and that. The yard didn't get like that overnight so it will take a long time to get it cleared up. Enjoy the adventure.😊

Very neat hearing what kind of vehicles you have there! The year and stories behind the metal. That 1960 Ford is really cool! I have a 1969 Ford F250 and the simplicity of the dash, the spacious room in the cab and the room that is under the hood is astronomical! They sure don't make 'em like they used to, that's for sure. I have a 302 engine and it drives beautifully, I also feel very safe in my '69, no plastic, just metal.

WOW! That's a lot of cars on your property but you've removed more than half. The weather in Alaska definitely would destroy working parts on any vehicle. So glad to see your progress on the home. It's a huge project but you're doing very well. Will keep watching the remodel. I actually enjoyed seeing all the old cars. When my brother was young he put a bigger engine in a Plymouth, and it made so much noise when I drove it that the girl up the street would say, Hey, I saw you driving by in your hot 🔥 car. It was my brother's hot car, but he had bought a Camero. Lots of familiar frames. I actually am fond of the older cars.

Interesting on the cars for someone they would have value for the parts I know when we had a 69 Pontiac Catalina finding parts was a huge challenge so much so that we finally said enough and sold it.. it was a beautiful car and so much fun to drive and powerful it literally would take off without you if you weren't careful. It was fun sharing the driving experience with a parking attendant in our downtown area too so rare that the younger generation got to experience driving a big powerful car like that. Anna In Ohio

3:55 There are several absolute keepers among the cars on that property. A few of them had four digits range potential. People into rebuilding, hot rodding, and rat rodding are looking for those body styles. 4:10 Locked up wheels? Not a problem, he obviously never heard of Puddin' from Pott County Oklahoma! Go to Puddin's Fab Shop and see if locked wheels stop him. His momma didn't raise no punk! 😊 6:00 Only a few parts? Those guys probably already had buyers for those cars. There were about five of them that I wanted to buy as project cars. But being nearly four thousand miles away in the lower 48 and having absolutely no place to keep them (dumb ol' HOAs). 😮 Then shipping to Seattle and half way across a continent isn't very cost effective for a project car. 😢 There was a 60s Jeep Waggoneer, 2-dr and 4-dr slab side Lincoln Continentals, early 60s Ford van, a few different Ford and Chevy 60s-70s pickups, what appeared to be a 50s Willys pickup truck, a VW campervan and more. He never did a good walk through of just the vehicles. I wonder what he could have gotten if advertised in Anchorage? They have car enthusiasts there don't they? 10:08 He had the perfect set up because he probably picks vintage vehicles all the time. When they are free who can blame them?
