#96 Quinacridone Sienna (Watercolor Cityscape Tutorial)

This is another color that I use constantly. I almost eat it. Today we will see how ‪@DANIELSMITHArtistColor‬ Quinacridone Sienna behaves in combination with some other colors from my minimal travel set. For the object, I chose a small nice street in Italy. 13 x 11 inches, Arches paper.

Love all your vids. Two great things about them. First is that you show your workspace and flow. This is very helpful and interesting to see how you approach the wetness and mixing. Second as many have said it is super enlightening to see how a "loose" wet style greatly enhances the result. I would be really interested to see your approach to larger works in future vids.

This was an outstanding tutorial. Thank you for sharing your process, one I like very much! The colors are intense without becoming too bold for the subject and the subject itself is a favorite... rustic aged locations. If I don’t have these colors but will get those I don’t.
