The eye makeup suited you! Nice to see Lottie briefly, i enjoy her pilates classes. ❤
you and me both 😊♥️
Yesss any vlog with Venetia’s book chat in it is my fave 😊
thank you, i love being able to talk about books in this space💕
I would love a full on make up routine with explanation and products - youre so good at it!
Edit: how do you text people when youre on offline 48?
oh gosh! i really don't think i'm all that good at make up... or maybe you mean with Grace?
all info on #offline48 is in this week's podcast: podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/how-to-break-up-with-your-phone/id1287395967?i=1000622351061
some weekends my phone is off entirely so no texting, other weekends i use iMessage, calls, whatsapp, Facetime etc x
Hi Venetia, the Trinny London BFF de-stress is amazing, very light and glowy 😊
I love your videos and content as always! I never feel pressured or stressed by them (as I do with some other content on social media), but rather inspired and comforted. I am interested in what content you follow, other UA-cam channels that are your favourites? The podcasts you listen to? Do you read any magazines? I am interested in learning more about topics you speak about and I figure that you sure have some good suggestions :)
thank you!

It’s always lovely to see you’ve posted a new video! x
thank you Claudia 💕💕
my recently finished non-fiction is “it’s not that radical” and “women have better sex under socialism”. recently finished fiction is “pachinko” which was SO good! i just picked up all of the houses because of your rec!
oooh, better sex under socialism sounds fascinating! will add to my list, thank you!
Try the ILIA skin tint! Super dewy hydrating and has been great on my sensitive skin
oooh, thanks!
One of my favourite vlog of yours! A bit of everything (work, friends, books, dogs etc)The ominana 'heart dress' is perfect and I will definitely read Elliot Page's memoire and Lost in work
ah thank you - and noted! it was fun for me to edit. i'm going to try and mix it up in a similar way for the next one too 💕
thanks for your books recommendations Venetia! you look gorgeous in the 2nd make up looks!
currently I live in Singapore and they have such an amazing system of library with extensive categories of books that i can borrow with a yearly membership. Meanwhile the library is free for singaporean. Nevertheless, certain books with topics about LGBTQ+ are not available (for example: Elliot Page and Paris Lee books are not discoverable). Singapore is certainly a developed country but it's interesting for me to see how they have their ways to control certain topics or contents. Just a thought!
Hope you are having an amazing week so far x
thanks for sharing this with me. it's so sad to read about how trans people's work is undiscoverable... especially when we think about how gender is a racial patriarchal capitalist construct. my heart is heavy for the trans community at the moment. hope you have a wonderful rest of your week 💕
Venetia! You should try NYX BB cream. They're vegan and cruelty free. They also provide a wide range of tints which means they're an inclusive brand which I personally respect a lot. I also have dry skin and it works well for me 😊
love to hear it, will check them out - thank you
The Body Shop's fresh nude foundation is v hydrating, or their skin tint - I've used the foundation for a couple of months and love it!
oooh will check it out! thank you
your teeth look incredible!
A fantastic book I recently read was 'A Woman In Your Own Right' by Anne Dickson. It's about assertiveness and is brilliant. I wouldn't usually comment but it is so worth a read!
thank you, on my reading list! x
Hey Venetia, have you tried the Complexion Rescue Hydrating Gel Cream?
Its my holy grail product :D
is this the light foundation tube? if so yes ages ago - maybe i should try again! xx
I love Kosas tinted face oil - super glowyyyy and I hate foundation.
this looks SO up my street!
Venetia, I hate to be that annoying person and I have looked at all the description boxes of your videos... Where are your darling cross earrings from please? With thanks!
✨🐍
hehe
I just finished reading a scifi book called ”I who have never known men” by Jacqueline Harpman, and I would love to know your ’review’ of it if you’d be interested in reading it :) xx
would you recommend it? if so, i'll add to my list!
@@VenetiaLaManna_ I would! It left me thinking philosophical thoughts about loneliness, womanhood, meaning of life etc. If these themes resonate with you, I would definitely recommend :)
Lost in Work sounds interesting, it’s a conversation that I’m having a lot at the moment with friends. Does the book offer solutions? I worry it will just compound my anxiety about being trapped in this system 🫠🫠xx
i'm about half way through so not quite at the solutions part yet, will keep you posted!
sidenote: if you're feeling trapped by the system, please can i ask if you are you part of any climate / social justice related organising groups? I would highly recommend as a way to decrease capitalism induced anxiety. if not, you might be interested to sign up to one of our workshops... x
