A huge KUDOS to you for the resolutions you've set your sights on for 2025. Particularly the one eschewing the vacuous and parasitic social media. All the best to you. 👍
Social media is toxic. Never used it never will and yes, UA-cam is social media but way different than Freakbook or weirdo-Twitter-X. I saw thirty years ago in the old AOL chat rooms when AOL went flat rate (used to be $3.95 per hour) how toxic it became when everyone was able to afford a computer and AOL. This was before the widespread use of the "real" internet.
Some excellent views from you. You have done well at 25. I respect people that are successful but I don't compare myself to them. There's no point. I focus on my life and what I need to work on, which is mainly my health and keeping my mind active. I have travelled all over the world, these days I prefer to travel around Australia with my car & bike. I have also simplified my life but I do need to work on decluttering my clothes because I have too much. I also went back to uni but didn't really enjoy it. I love learning & have always read a lot & love visiting the local libraries.
@hey.alexedwards I am a bit different because I rather find my own journeys and adventures. I really like Cairns in the winter because it's the perfect weather when it's cold in Melbourne. There's so much to do in Cairns if you enjoy outdoor activities. I love visiting Sydney because it's a gorgeous city & always fun to walk around the city. Or in my case, I take my foldable bike with me. The coast of NSW is beautiful and peaceful. I really like Wollongong. It's new and not expensive. Adelaide is a nice place to visit. The botanical garden is lovely & Handoff is a fun weekend trip for German foods and beers. I am a simple person. I can find beauty in almost every situations. Tasmania is so pure and fresh. Unbelievable if you like hiking, nature, wine, seafood and quality food. I haven't been to Perth or WA. It's too far away.
Sounds like an excellent, deliberate and healthy focus for yourself for the year. Clarity of thought is a blessing and that you can see the need for these changes is a big part of the battle. I won't say 'good luck' because I don't think luck is involved. But I will wish you well in meeting your goals this year!
Damn, go to school. School is the most important. You will regret it later. It doesn t matter if you want a business . To have a full education it is a big advantage. Life is cruel and never know what could happen. You need a foundation.
I disagree - it doesn't give you the advantage it used to. People want proven results, not a piece of paper that millions of people also have. University is important if you want to become an engineer, doctor or lawyer. Other than that, most degrees are almost entirely useless.
U re a genuine guy, I wish u the best
Thank you! Take care
I quietly thank my sister daily for convincing me years ago to get off social media. It's truly addictive. A great thing to leave behind.
It's one of the best things to get away from. Social Media is poison
Isn’t UA-cam social media? I dunno, I’m too old to really know but I quit Facebook a year ago and I’ve never had any other kind of social media.

Thank you! Onwards and upwards. Wishing you an excellent year.
@@hey.alexedwards Much obliged.
I quit social media in 2012 and never looked back.
Thanks for sharing.
I think that was incredibly smart. A lot more people could benefit from the same.

You didn t. You tube is social media too. You leave social media the moment you stop using all this platforms.
@@flower1990-B I said that it was. Is English your native language?
