So this is a bit of a throwback! I wrote this song when I was 17 but it never made it to my record "Running with Scissors". I do really enjoy performing this one live, so a few of you may have heard it when I've been on the road. I do hope you enjoy, if you do please share it. Sharing is caring!

I can't believe you were able to write such an amazing catchy and commercial song with the life experiences of a 16-17 year old - just wow! I love all the other music that you do which I think is more you, but a few songs like this here and there don't do any harm at all. I play it - A LOT, just wish it was longer, great vibe. Great video too.

Oh dammmmn this is some funky stuff. Had to spin it a few times back to back, now I want to hear your voice on a psychedelic funk track. Some thick boom-bap bass and wah-wah to complement that organ sound and I'd be in Funkstasy!

Hey +Janet Devlin, I read that you had an Album called Hide&Seek - I'd really like to listen to it ( seeing as I love your singing voice), but I can't find it on Spotify, Amazon, Ebay. How come?
Hide & Seek was Janet's first album, which was funded through Pledgemusic. The original idea was for Janet to release to pledgers first, then release to general public.
After Janet released it to pledgers she felt that it wasn't the sound she wanted and, as it was her debut album, she wanted something she would be proud of. So she scrapped the album and made Running with Scissors her official debut album.
Pledgers received both albums as part of the pledge.
RWS has several reworked versions of songs which were on H&S such as Wonderful, Creatures of the Night & Things We Lost in the Fire.
H&S included Crown Of Thorns, When We Were Young, Nothing Left To Hide, Who Am I To You, Pick Me Up, Walk Away & Working For The Man, which were excluded from RWS.

I am teacher, Business, but quite enjoy your music. This particular piece is an excellent example why schools should still be teaching poetry. Yes some schools no longer teach poetry. Anyway, I am forwarding this to our teacher who still teaches poetry to high school students.

You have a unique way of covering songs (it's the Irish twinkle in your voice) and I enjoy listening to them. However, please don't let yourself be known for doing covers. Write some more and perform some more of your own music, it is GOOD! I remember you stood up for yourself (on X-factor?) and said "THIS IS ME, I do it for the music not to be a commercial success". Do it for the music, those of us that believe in you, WILL pay to download your work so you can make a living doing this.
Loving the way your videos are as if you are singing to me directly, then you smile and laugh as if you caught me nodding along :) Its all good :P

I listen to this song EVERY SINGLE DAY since I heard it for the first time 3 weeks ago, your smile always makes my day, you have such a lovely voice. I love metal and love screams, but for this 3 weeks your music is the only thing I listen to. Is a big change and a rest for my ears >.< Keep working on this, I'm sure you make a lot of people very happy (I'm one of those). I've been going throw a hard moment in my life, but listening to you makes me feel much better and HAPPY, and it has been a long time since the last time I could say: "I am happy".
