Heard this on Santa Monica radio station KCRW, sounds like early 70's Beach Boys, I love it ! They are doing a free gig on Santa Monica Pier on Thursday 7th August 2014.

auramac Most definitely. The drums (and other droning elements) are very reminiscent of Tomorrow Never Knows, and the vocals are very Beach Boysey. MsCygnusX1 knows of which she speaks.

Trippy song, would kill for a 20-30 minute version.
But then, I find pretty much all of their songs are like this.
That haunting & 'wavy' Soprano voice & harmonies - awesome.
The music runs on so nicely with weird/odd notes mixed in - awesome again.
Exercise caution: HIGHLY ADDICTIVE fresh & futuristic music with a hint of retro.

First heard this at Walmart a few months ago, and I thought it was something from around 1990 that I missed the first time around. This song gives me 1989-90 flashbacks as though it existed then. And its soooo catchy!

Such a cool song! Even after 4 years it is still good! It was such much fun to see this song live in 2014 @ metropolis festival Rotterdam Holland. They had so much joy on the stage and the singer was dancing very cool! The crowd was dancing around and everybody had a great time! Everytime when I listen to music of Jagwar Ma I am in my mind at that festival! They created such a unique atmosphere and a special energy with their music and they way the dressed and looked and how they performaned. It was phenomal! I still watch the live video of come and save me often back!

This is an excellent song.
However, being a songwriter of many years I find the structure confusing.
BUT....if you start the song at 1:08 it all comes together.
The Verse is that great "Gimme some Lovin" bass line that is inccesant and brilliant.
Then the (real) chorus...the emptied out "come and save me" starts just around the minute mark....where it should be for radio.
This song should be an enourmous hit...like top 40...the chorus is outta this world excellent. But the first minute is all over the place.
Cut the first minute and you gota a great pop song.
The way it later dissolves into electronica is pure genius.
10 out of 10 Mr. Ma....gods speed and I wish you well!
