I'm re watching this almost one year later. Virgo rising. Some people just have already disappeared from my life - almost unnoticed and unexpected. Among them luckily only one close friend. She let me down during my stay in hospital after a surgery. Saturn really can be Winter, like cutting back what's no longer able to survive. Cutting back to what's most necessary. Although this is somehow making me sad, I'm also happy that things are taking care of themselves.

Out of all the overviews so far of Pisces transit Saturn for Sagittarius (my rising is 0 degrees), this is very on point, regardless of just starting. Ever since covid in 2020 my work career situation fell apart. Saturn going through my 2nd and 3rd (Saturn Return) has felt the worst financially for me. But now since it dipped into Pisces, I felt the need to dive more internally and figured what to do. I've been starting to Doordash to pay off a small amount of dept that I've been delaying to pay off and really honing in on internal security. Also I felt like my Saturn Return taught me to not keep quite of say anything at all, but don't say more than I should.
Aries rising! So true about not having our needs met. Having Saturn in my 12H really goes to show me that I need to be on ADHD meds. Trying to go without them but I need to get treated. I knew it was an issue but Saturn in my 12th has really been showing how much my mental health affects me. I’ve also been having a lot of subconscious issues and desires that I’ve pushed down for many years and its all starting come up. It’s so interesting how the energy feels. It’s like this deep, dark slow but expansive energy that just creeps up on you and it comes from the back of your mind. I always find it so interesting feeling all the energies so intensely Edit: Money and career has been so fast paced lately. But grateful for the up peak in finances!

thank you for doing a rising sign approach. it is so much more accurate (in my opinion) than those that do collective readings from the sun sign as the Ascendant POV. I use the koch system, which is not whole house, so in my chart as a 22 degree Cancer rising these planets are located in the Leo rising houses. I’m going to listen to both and see how the whole house interpretation resonates for each house placement. ❤

Yep, there's so so much boring, logistical, dry stuff ancillary to death. And the time to do the long list of banking/legal/medical end of life preparation isn't when someone is already sick (which I'm sure you know!). The best time is when there's nothing else going on, so if that's with Saturn in your 8th, it's a great time to make sure you and any siblings are all on the same page with plans. Or even be up to date with your own death preparation; I personally should have updated my advanced directives years ago!
Wise hope resonates deeply- I’m a cappy with Neptune conj my sun and trine my moon, so this transit feels like a integration of all I’ve been hermiting about for a while. I find it very hard to put into words. It’s a two way street, the rocks break the waves but the waves soften the rock’s edges over time. I know it’s uncharted territory, but I think the opportunity to build a dream is here. Something drew me to this video. As I was watching it I wasn't really feeling it at certain times and I thought about shutting it off. It can be difficult to know when what is making us feel a bit agitated uncomfortable or anxious is actually what we need to listen to and tune into. So some of what you were saying felt On Point for me, but also felt a bit scattered and undefined. There was a theme running through it all though of dedication. Underlying everything I could see a dedication of thought and direction. That can be something hard to turn into and I often relate it to a long-drawn-out movie or song that requires patience and is only fully understood for its totality for those who are drawn to seeing the whole thing through. Anyways 40 minutes in and she mentioned Adam Sommer, someone who I have known about and had great conversations and readings with over a decade and who also was a major contribution To me studying and taking seriously the interpersonal relationships of cosmos myths and psyche. Subscribed for your honesty. It's been so annoying with so many other astrologers avoiding the word "death" when it's Saturn entering the 8th for Leos, good grief. Great advice and yes, everyone ignores Neptune but it's obviously affecting us all. And if you use Jupiter as traditional Pisces ruler, that's a more favorable than unfavorable sextile, whew!

Saturn shows us our limits sometimes. If Saturn is in your whole sign 8th house nataly, and currently in your whole sign 9th, this speaks to the Saturn transit potentially having to do with healthy boundaries or saying no to how to share yourself with others (the 8th), especially in institutional settings like universities. Hopefully 4 months later you're doin ok!

Aquarius Rising here. My husband (Pisces sun) and I live on a single income (his.) We live in a family home, which my parents recently put into our names so that we could secure equity funds for home improvements. I have an interior design background and have been using my skills to plan house projects and I suppose this will potentially save money as we won't be paying hefty design fees for our projects. (Sidenote: I also recently volunteered my gardening expertise to teach a children's gardening class to 20 homeschoolers.) After a few pandemic years of stimulus money and student loan deferment, our bank account was quite fat, but 2023 laid bare the true size of our budget after a few years of private school for one child and a couple of large expenses related to our home and vehicles. This reality riding into my 2nd House on Saturn's back makes me very wary of this large HELOC we are about to charge up for home improvement, especially because I have been dreaming and idealizing these changes to our home for a very long time.

The only thing I know about sidereal at this time, is that it's used in Jyotish astrology, which has overlapping but different perspectives/techniques compared to the western traditional astrology I operate with.

If you are Sagittarius Rising, listen to the Sagittarius Rising part! I'm going by whole sign, so if you switched the calculations to that, your 4th house would entirely be Pisces, and Saturn would be in the 4th whole sign house. I consider all the chart calculations to be valid. It's like looking at something (you in this case), but just from different angles! We get one perspective from quadrant houses like Placidus, and another perspective from whole sign. So both the quadrant-based and whole sign perspectives are valid, just different. In this video, we look at your chart from the whole sign perspective. I hope that helps!

If you're using Whole Signs like I am in the video, you should see Pisces in the 11th house. If you're using a quadrant-based system like Placidus, this may not be the case!
Pisces sun/Aquarius asc. How to refer to this saturn in pisces for me in 2th house if I've been really really struggling with money,job in the last 3 years. So is it going to be even worth? Can't be...thank you
If your Sun is *above* the Ascendant degree it is a Day chart. If your Sun is in the 12th, you're a day chart (my Sun is in the 12th, too ^_^) Sometimes there is some ambiguity in how the chart operates if the Sun is within ~5º of the Ascendant degree, but if it's above the horizon, it's a day chart.
Gemini Rising. I know this transit in the 10th house is about career. Does that mean I'll finally get a long term job? I have been unemployed for awhile.

Thank you for the question! For my content which looks through a Hellenistic lens, I would use your Tropical rising sign. And when you're looking through the Vedic lens, use your sidereal rising sign! I like to think of all the different types of astrology as valid. It's like imaging we are seeing you from different angles or perspectives. We might see your profile or side from one angle, and the back of your head from another. They look different but both might describe things about you or your life that are real/valid. In my consults, I like to use the example of a coffee mug. Some angles I can see the handle, other angles of viewing the mug, I can not. Both views are the mug and we can listen to both! Last thing I'll say, is that if one modality of astrology feels better, fits better, go with that one more often if that feels more helpful! Thanks again for asking as this is a really common question that floats around the community.

Great question, it is possible to reverse engineer the time at least down to a rising sign using a set of techniques called Rectification. We use your most important life events and try to match that timing with what would make sense for your birth chart. If someone was adopted, this can be the most difficult situation if the birth time isn't on the birth certificate. But if you can, ask your family if there's any story around your birth. If you can at least know whether you were born during the day or night, that can be a great place to start and at least get it down to about 6 signs instead of 12.

Night chart and night babies refer to those born with the Sun Below the horizon, below the Ascendant and Descendant degrees (the bottom half of the chart). Day chart and day babies refer to those born with the Sun Above the horizon, above the Ascendant and Descendant degrees (the top half of the chart).
I can't speak for karma because that's such a complex thing. But Saturn themselves can mean losses, and in the 8th of shared assets/debts there could be losses in the exchange of resources (money, time, effort, emotional labor, skills, etc) with others. Maybe that involves shady business, maybe not; I can't say. Saturn could also be the stopping or saying no to certain collaborations or reaching a limit with those.
5th iss libra rising, and the delays of the house was prior of the return, its supposed to take a change in some sort in the return.. so it doesntmake sense
If you are a Libra rising, and we are using the whole sign house system, then your 6th house will hold Pisces. This is where Saturn is by whole sign. If there were delays related to 6th house topics before* March 7th 2023 , I would 1) want to know if you had natal Saturn in the early degrees of Pisces, in which case transiting Saturn would have been returning by degree before it ingressed into Pisces. And 2) I would look to Jupiter's activity in your chart, being the ruler of Pisces, and I would of course have to see your whole chart to be sure ^_^. If you had delays in 5th house topics prior to March 7th 2023, that means you were potentially feeling Saturn in Aquarius in your whole sign 5th house.

I use whole sign houses to assign house topics, so if you're a Pisces rising, that means Saturn is entering your 1st whole sign house. I would follow the interpretation I provided for Pisces rising which will have to do with Saturn affecting your mind, body, spirit, and/or presentation/appearance.
that's one of many possibilities I discuss. Could also be trying to make a new structure for (business, platonic, or romantic) partnership, making healthy boundaries that support partnership, or more generally Saturn could be creating structures around how you simply present to the other. Saturn calls for realism, acceptance, and accountability, so if you're doing all of those things, you're doing great! Saturn in a place generally has it slowed down til after ~age 30, so if you're younger I'm less concerned. Look to see if transiting Saturn is in a trine/sextile to your natal Saturn which could speak to a more constructive time, even with a night chart. Saturn can be experts as well, so if you haven't, it could be time to ask others for help regarding relationship challenges.

Something drew me to this video. As I was watching it I wasn't really feeling it at certain times and I thought about shutting it off. It can be difficult to know when what is making us feel a bit agitated uncomfortable or anxious is actually what we need to listen to and tune into. So some of what you were saying felt On Point for me, but also felt a bit scattered and undefined. There was a theme running through it all though of dedication. Underlying everything I could see a dedication of thought and direction. That can be something hard to turn into and I often relate it to a long-drawn-out movie or song that requires patience and is only fully understood for its totality for those who are drawn to seeing the whole thing through. Anyways 40 minutes in and she mentioned Adam Sommer, someone who I have known about and had great conversations and readings with over a decade and who also was a major contribution To me studying and taking seriously the interpersonal relationships of cosmos myths and psyche. Subscribed for your honesty. It's been so annoying with so many other astrologers avoiding the word "death" when it's Saturn entering the 8th for Leos, good grief. Great advice and yes, everyone ignores Neptune but it's obviously affecting us all. And if you use Jupiter as traditional Pisces ruler, that's a more favorable than unfavorable sextile, whew!

Saturn shows us our limits sometimes. If Saturn is in your whole sign 8th house nataly, and currently in your whole sign 9th, this speaks to the Saturn transit potentially having to do with healthy boundaries or saying no to how to share yourself with others (the 8th), especially in institutional settings like universities. Hopefully 4 months later you're doin ok!

Aquarius Rising here. My husband (Pisces sun) and I live on a single income (his.) We live in a family home, which my parents recently put into our names so that we could secure equity funds for home improvements.
I have an interior design background and have been using my skills to plan house projects and I suppose this will potentially save money as we won't be paying hefty design fees for our projects. (Sidenote: I also recently volunteered my gardening expertise to teach a children's gardening class to 20 homeschoolers.)
After a few pandemic years of stimulus money and student loan deferment, our bank account was quite fat, but 2023 laid bare the true size of our budget after a few years of private school for one child and a couple of large expenses related to our home and vehicles. This reality riding into my 2nd House on Saturn's back makes me very wary of this large HELOC we are about to charge up for home improvement, especially because I have been dreaming and idealizing these changes to our home for a very long time.

The only thing I know about sidereal at this time, is that it's used in Jyotish astrology, which has overlapping but different perspectives/techniques compared to the western traditional astrology I operate with.

If you are Sagittarius Rising, listen to the Sagittarius Rising part! I'm going by whole sign, so if you switched the calculations to that, your 4th house would entirely be Pisces, and Saturn would be in the 4th whole sign house. I consider all the chart calculations to be valid. It's like looking at something (you in this case), but just from different angles! We get one perspective from quadrant houses like Placidus, and another perspective from whole sign. So both the quadrant-based and whole sign perspectives are valid, just different. In this video, we look at your chart from the whole sign perspective. I hope that helps!

If you're using Whole Signs like I am in the video, you should see Pisces in the 11th house. If you're using a quadrant-based system like Placidus, this may not be the case!

Hi, new to your channel. Day baby versus night baby- what about 12 housers? Early morning, 5am-7am is that considered day or night?
If your Sun is *above* the Ascendant degree it is a Day chart. If your Sun is in the 12th, you're a day chart (my Sun is in the 12th, too ^_^) Sometimes there is some ambiguity in how the chart operates if the Sun is within ~5º of the Ascendant degree, but if it's above the horizon, it's a day chart.

Thank you for the question! For my content which looks through a Hellenistic lens, I would use your Tropical rising sign. And when you're looking through the Vedic lens, use your sidereal rising sign!
I like to think of all the different types of astrology as valid. It's like imaging we are seeing you from different angles or perspectives. We might see your profile or side from one angle, and the back of your head from another. They look different but both might describe things about you or your life that are real/valid.
In my consults, I like to use the example of a coffee mug. Some angles I can see the handle, other angles of viewing the mug, I can not. Both views are the mug and we can listen to both!
Last thing I'll say, is that if one modality of astrology feels better, fits better, go with that one more often if that feels more helpful!

Can you figure your rising sign; if your not positive exact time o' birth??
Great question, it is possible to reverse engineer the time at least down to a rising sign using a set of techniques called Rectification. We use your most important life events and try to match that timing with what would make sense for your birth chart. If someone was adopted, this can be the most difficult situation if the birth time isn't on the birth certificate. But if you can, ask your family if there's any story around your birth. If you can at least know whether you were born during the day or night, that can be a great place to start and at least get it down to about 6 signs instead of 12.

when you say, 'night chart' and 'day babies' are you referring to the time that a person was born?
Night chart and night babies refer to those born with the Sun Below the horizon, below the Ascendant and Descendant degrees (the bottom half of the chart). Day chart and day babies refer to those born with the Sun Above the horizon, above the Ascendant and Descendant degrees (the top half of the chart).

I can't speak for karma because that's such a complex thing. But Saturn themselves can mean losses, and in the 8th of shared assets/debts there could be losses in the exchange of resources (money, time, effort, emotional labor, skills, etc) with others. Maybe that involves shady business, maybe not; I can't say. Saturn could also be the stopping or saying no to certain collaborations or reaching a limit with those.
5th iss libra rising, and the delays of the house was prior of the return, its supposed to take a change in some sort in the return.. so it doesntmake sense
If you are a Libra rising, and we are using the whole sign house system, then your 6th house will hold Pisces. This is where Saturn is by whole sign.
If there were delays related to 6th house topics before* March 7th 2023 , I would 1) want to know if you had natal Saturn in the early degrees of Pisces, in which case transiting Saturn would have been returning by degree before it ingressed into Pisces. And 2) I would look to Jupiter's activity in your chart, being the ruler of Pisces, and I would of course have to see your whole chart to be sure ^_^. If you had delays in 5th house topics prior to March 7th 2023, that means you were potentially feeling Saturn in Aquarius in your whole sign 5th house.

I use whole sign houses to assign house topics, so if you're a Pisces rising, that means Saturn is entering your 1st whole sign house. I would follow the interpretation I provided for Pisces rising which will have to do with Saturn affecting your mind, body, spirit, and/or presentation/appearance.

that's one of many possibilities I discuss. Could also be trying to make a new structure for (business, platonic, or romantic) partnership, making healthy boundaries that support partnership, or more generally Saturn could be creating structures around how you simply present to the other. Saturn calls for realism, acceptance, and accountability, so if you're doing all of those things, you're doing great! Saturn in a place generally has it slowed down til after ~age 30, so if you're younger I'm less concerned. Look to see if transiting Saturn is in a trine/sextile to your natal Saturn which could speak to a more constructive time, even with a night chart. Saturn can be experts as well, so if you haven't, it could be time to ask others for help regarding relationship challenges.
