I remember Crime patrol. I played it when I was like 8 or 9 in 05, it was terrible but I spent so long thinking about what it was called. Thank you lol
excellent round-up jobs! I love it. only the very first one 'maddog mccree' arcade cabinet was imported and officially operated in several capcom's directly managed arcades in tokyo, by capcom japan. none of them run very well and no more sequels came, though. some of them are ported to modern consoles such as wii or psn(ps3) with light gun support. port to dvd-pg version is also available, as well.
Nice video, It's good to see some American Laser Games content out there, I see this is being played on Singe, hopefully, more arcade accurate emulation will be coming to MAME in the not too distant future. If you or anyone watching this is interested in American Laser Games, then please check out the Facebook Group called "American Laser Games Fan Group"
Is this video an emulator? Which emulator? Where to find all the necessary to play these games on pc? Thanks a lot for your work! For me MACH 3 and dragons lair were the best laser-disc games.
Gotta love how these ALD games cheat like MAD to get you to pump more coins in. You can literally unload a whole sixer on a target with pinpoint accuracy between him first appearing and shooting at you, and it'll completey ignore your shot. In MD2 the undertaker even EXPLICITLY states in one clip "I think you need to put more money in this game!" 😂 Honestly don't think the gambling comission would allow that level of fiddling these days...
Didn't know crime patrol had a sequel. Love the cheesiness of those games, porn music, hilarious bad acting (probably nembers of the company) and low production fx effects. But the gameplay was awful, bad hit detection, the video quality was great for that time but still awful for modern standards (hard to see some enemies on the background) and bad to replay (the enemies appear always in the same places even when they are random). Still quite unique and with some relevance.
Pretty sure the bad hit detection was engineered in, so the machines took more money. It's not rocket science to get it right, and the problem exists with all the ALD games.
We need more light gun shooting these days with all the big tv. Sadly this style seems dead now, like the classics shmups. I will try some Wii ps3 gun shoot like Terminator..House of the dead.. Or if that possible on a real crt with Mame hyperspin on my blast city. I like these cheesy stuff like old movies.
Not sure if others were available in PC ports but I did bought an Who Shot Johnny Rock ? for PC (in CD-Rom) from an old computer store back in 2002. You just use the mouse to play it, like most similar shooting such as Sega's Virtual Cop.
I remember playing one of these at the Coronado Mall, in Albuquerque.
Love the cheesy acting and 1 liners!
90's were the best, straight garbage games these days
I love the triple replays you do of the more ridiculous deaths. Haha
Any of there machines back in the day always wow’ed me as a kid when I saw one in action! Great great memories!
God DAMN I miss the '90s.
What i remember most about Fast Draw Showdown was all the times Wes Flowers said "HOW MANY TIMES DO i GOTTA TELL YOU? PUT IT BACK IN THE HOLSTER!"

the console system with the best graphics ever
You guys missed one game, it was called Gallagher’s Gallery. The Comedian had his ow American Laser Game.

Around the time when Lethal Enforcement and Steel Gunner released. Before the time of Virtual Cop and Time Crisis.

Those were the days...
Beat maddog maccree in 1997,felt very outdated even at that moment

Can this been played with a light gun? Or just mouse controls. Can I ask what you are playing this on? Is it an emulator

There was a wii mad dog trilogy that works and has all 3 games but it takes some know how to get working but was worth it.
1:30 What...!!
QUE HORROR
Some shoots in those games are annoyingly hard btw
Do this games run in MAME?
They don't work with MAME.
Well this is Singe, not Laserdisc.
