I think you’re supposed to loosely stake out the outside before you put the center pole in. Makes it way easier. That’s how my tepee tent works anyway... Cheers!
How are you? Is being a year since you did your first review on this tent... How you like it? Did the tent hold up to the element test so far? Would you recommended? I am ready to buy the same one on Amazon is on my cart but I want to do some homework before I pull the trigger you know...LOL I read some of the reviews on Amazon on this same tent and some people love it and some people hate it. I want your personal opinion since you already try it out. Hope you can help my friend your opinion matters!
How much does this tent weigh? I read some bad reviews on it. Ie Only one zip on the door and poor vent as it does not stay open well. Also, pole went through ceiling!

I've used it twice. Seems pretty good. Haven't tried in the rain
