Tecsun 202t is a model to consider than this one. It has a dedicated on/offswitch and it's am reception is great. Fm is decent. Over all a nice radio for 13 dollars.
Have you ever considered doing a video on batteries (for radios of course)? Maybe the differences between lithium, NiMH, non-chargeables, etc. and what batteries seem to work the best? Thank you.
In my Tuner Tips playlist I made a video about rechargeables, main NiMH and BL-5Cs. Also what chargers to use. I may do a followup video in the future.
174 - 230 MHz. I have M69 NTSC CATV or PAL VHF UHF CATV RF MODULATOR from Aliexpress. I set to NTSC or 4.5 MHz sound carrier to Channel 24 (227.50 MHz sound frequency). It works.

1.25m HAM band (220 or 222 Mhz)
No AC/DC jack?
Not on this radio, though Tecsun usually has them on most of their portables.
