Did you have to apply for scholarships separately or did you let the university know in any way that I’ll be needing financial assistance like what we do in the case of US college applications?

I find it a bit difficult to see which universities in Japan that are offering English IR programmes. Is there any way to check besides their website? what are the best grad schools for IR in Japan?
